     Gordon married Mable Turner on December 12, 1908 in Port Allegany, McKean County, Pennsylvania,3, the daughter of W. E. Turner, widower.3 Gordon Leo Slade was registered for the military draft in World War I on September 12, 1918 in Rochester, Monroe County, New York.1 He was a fireman for City of Rochester, next of kin shown as Mable Slade, Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania ??1 In 1920, Louis and Gordon were both boarding in household of Wm F House. Gordon worked for Kodak factory and Louis was in construction.2
     Gordon married Margaret Salter on June 22, 1957 in Rochester, New York.4 Gordon died in September, 1974 at age 89.5 He was buried in North Bloomfield Cemetery, Honeoye Falls, Ontario County, New York.5

     Kenneth married Patricia Ann Colburn, daughter of Harry A. Colburn and Cecile L. Houle, on September 8, 1958 in Mt. Holly, Rutland County, Vermont.3 Kenneth died on October 7, 1999 in Albany County, New York, at age 62.3,2 He was buried in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Wallingford, Rutland County, Vermont.3,4 His obituary read as follows:

ALBANY -- Kenneth Slade, 62, died October 17, 1999 at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany. He was born in Jamaica, VT on June 2, 1937. He received his education in the Chester schools, graduating in 1955. He later went on to earn his bachelors degree in 1960 from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and later obtained his masters degree from Rensselaer Poly Technical School in 1964. He had served his country in the U.S. Army as well as being part of the reserve unit for several years. He had worked as a senior engineer for the NY State Department of Health for many years. He was a native resident of South Londonderry, VT. He had enjoyed reading as well as his family. Survivors include his mother, Muriel Coleman Slade Ingram of Rutland; his wife, Patricia Colburn Slade whom he married on September 8, 1958 in Mount Holly, VT; one son, Franklin Slade of Gansevoort, NY; one daughter, Diann Dawson of Albany, NY; one half brother, Donald Ingram of Virginia Beach, VA; two grandchildren, Daniel Dawson of Albany and Carley Slade of Gansevoort, NY. He was predeceased by his father, Harry Slade in 1938. Funeral will be Thursday at the South Londonderry Baptist Church in South Londonderry, VT with Rev. Kathy Narowitz officiating. Burial will follow with military honors in the St. Patrick's Cemetery in Wallingford, VT. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-8 at the Adams-Gendron Funeral Home in Chester, VT.
