Marshall Perry Slade1

b. 3 November 1861, d. October 1950
     Marshall Perry Slade was born on November 3, 1861 in New York [baptised Jun 1, 1862, West Whiteland, Pennsylvania].2,1 He was the son of Jarvis Slade and Hannah Thomas Patten.2
     Marshall married Jane Rosetta Carson on April 11, 1899 in Manhattan, New York County, New York.3 The daughter of Matilda Grayden Moore & Joseph Carson.3 Marshall was widowed when his wife, Jane, died on July 21, 1925 at age 56.4 About 1933, he married Bertha Cooledge, b 1881, Massachusetts.5 Marshall Perry Slade died in October, 1950 at age 88.6 He was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, Bronx County, New York.6

     Henry Lewis Slade was born in July, 1864 in New York.1,3 He was the son of Jarvis Slade and Hannah Thomas Patten.1
     Henry married Olivia Phelps Hoe in October, 1891 in New York County, New York.2 She was the eldest daughter of Robert and Olivia Hoe of New York City.2 In 1920, Henry was living alone, 55, divorced, retired. Henry Lewis Slade died on July 9, 1924.4 He was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, Bronx County, New York.4

     Olivia Phelps Hoe was born in July, 1868 in Massachusetts.2 Daughter of Robert and Olivia Hoe of New York City.1
     Olivia married Henry Lewis Slade, son of Jarvis Slade and Hannah Thomas Patten, in October, 1891 in New York County, New York.1 In 1920, Olivia owned her home, was listed as married but living alone, except for boarder, Charles P. Berridge, 41, born Canada.3 Olivia Phelps Hoe died on September 6, 1927 at age 59.4,5 She was buried in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, New York.4
