      Carl P. Slade, Jr., 78, passed away unexpectedly May 25, 2013, at Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston, ME with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Muriel (Goodoff) Slade. Born in Fall River, to Carl P. Slade, Sr., and Edith M. (Chace) Slade. He graduated from Somerset High School in 1952 and attended Bryant College. Survivors: former wife Ester (Kupiec) Slade; daughters Debra Massey and her husband Peter, and Tracy; sons Carl P. Slade, III, Glenn Slade and his wife Kimberly, Shane Slade; sister Audrey Haworth and her husband William, and Aunt Mary Levesque, of Somerset, 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Memorial service to be held at the Knights of Columbus, 77 Prescott Road, Whitensville, MA, 11-3, June 9.2
