      Mary Jane Slade Kasper, 71, of West Hanover Township, died Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was a graduate of Northern Lebanon High School; member of East Hanover Lions Club; Secretary for the Circle of Serbian Sisters; former President and present Secretary for the St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church Seniors Club. Mary Jane volunteered for the Wreaths Across America Project and was an active volunteer for projects at St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, where she was a member. She was retired from Highmark Blue Cross/Blue Shield with 40 years of service.
Mary Jane is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Paul F. Kasper; two sons, Thomas Herr (Terry) and Terry Herr; one grandson, Kyle Herr; one brother, Robert Slade; two sisters, Marian Slade and JoAnn Slade one sister-in-law, Mary Slade. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Carl Slade and Elizabeth T. Peric Slade; her brother, William Slade and sister, Betty Patrick.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 11:00 am in Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church, 5501 Old Locust Lane, Harrisburg, with the Rev. Christopher S. Rocknage, Officiating. Burial will be in Churchville Cemetery at the conclusion of services. A viewing will be held on Monday from 10:00 am - 11:00 am in Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church. Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Steelton.
