     Plummer married Sarah Slade, daughter of Hezekiah Slade and Helena Victoria Taylor, on September 15, 1859 in Marion County, Mississippi.1 During the Civil War, Plummer Ladner served as a Corporal in Company B, 7th Mississippi Infantry Battalion, Conferate States of America.2 Plummer Ladner was killed during the Civil War on February 8, 1864 at age 29.1

Find-a-Grave.com has a memorial for Plummer Ladner at New Lebanon Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Talladega County, Alabama, however, the death date appears to be incorrect and there is no evidence that Plummer is actually buried there.
