Elizabeth Fleeman1,2

(4 October 1925 - 15 November 2010)
Elizabeth Fleeman was born on October 4, 1925 in Georgia.1 She was the daughter of Hershel Thomas Fleeman and Cleo Horne.1
Elizabeth married William Edward Slade, son of Robert Lee Slade and Annie Lena Hollingsworth.3 Elizabeth died on November 15, 2010 at age 85.1 She was buried in Magnolia Park Cemetery, Houston County, Georgia.1 Her obituary read as follows:

Elizabeth Fleeman Slade -BONAIRE - Elizabeth Slade was born October 4, 1925 and was gloriously escorted out of her diseased, deteriorating, and now dead body to a reserved place in eternity with Holy God based solely on the ONE AND ONLY WAY, TRUTH, and LIFE - JESUS CHRIST. She was a wonderful wife of sixty-eight years, loving mother and mother-in-law, grand and great grand mama, talented teacher, church member and friend yet still separated from Holy God by the sin she and all the world is born into. Her goodness could not merit her eternity with Holy God and she certainly was good based on the worlds view but not according to the AUTHORITY of GOD'S HOLY INERRANT WORD - the BIBLE. But Holy God, who is rich in mercy offered her THE ONLY WAY to spend eternity with Him which she embraced and went from believing intellectually to a repentant attitude thus turning from her own sinful ways and making JESUS CHRIST her personal Lord and Savior and is RIGHT NOW living life to the fullness free from the pain and suffering of her diseased, dead body and this sinful world. She faced her hour of death Monday evening on November 15, 2010 at age 85 and her body will be placed in a waiting position for the SHOUT of the LORD JESUS and His return for His redeemed church. -She leaves a loving legacy to her family, husband, Ike Slade of sixty-eight years; two sons, Mike (Susan) and Tom (Julie) Slade; daughter, Penny (Dwayne) Gay; grandchildren, Lance (Toni) Slade, Lori (Ryan) Lyons, Will and Rob Slade, Skylar and Casey Gay; great-grandchildren, Spencer Slade, Michael and Kaitlyn Lyons; brother, Ronnie Fleeman (Connie) and sister, Mavis Daniel. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Cleo Fleeman. -Her home going visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Magnolia Park Mausoleum with Reverend Mike Slade officiating.1
