     Phoebe Lawrence was born on July 22, 1849 in New York.1,2,3 Phoebe married first Horace Thorpe in Litchfield County, Connecticut.4 Phoebe married second C. P. Robinson on December 7, 1873 in Lander County, Nevada.5,6 Apparently, Phoebe married again to a Cousins as she was listed as Phoebe H. Cousins in her marraige record to Van Slade. We were unable to find her marriage record to Cousins in Nevada or California.7
     Phoebe married fourth Van Rensalear Slade, son of Abraham Slade and Elizabeth Pearce, on June 27, 1890 in Yolo County, California.7
     Phoebe married fifth Alva Udell on May 15, 1906 in Marin County, California.8 Phoebe died on January 23, 1924 at age 74.3 She was buried in Winters Cemetery, Winters, Yolo County, California.3

      Robert Gene Slade, 85, of Fort Thomas, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2020 at his residence. He was a Lift Truck Operator with Nutone for 30 years. He was preceded in death by Father, Johnnie Slade, Mother, Clara Slade, Brother, Earl Slade, Sister, Pearl Horan, Sister, Gladys Harris. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Phyllis Slade of Fort Thomas, KY, Sons, Robert Slade, Jr., (Kim), Danny Slade, (Kelly), Michael Slade, (Melanie), Scott Slade, (Christine) Grandchildren, Brandi Slade, Rachel Sharp, Kristen Curtis, Olivia Slade, Adam Slade.

      Pearl Horan, 99, formerly of Geneva, passed away on Monday (April 21, 2014) in the FF Thompson Nursing Home.
Friends may call at the DeVaney-Bennett Funeral Home, 181 N. Main St., Geneva on Wednesday (April 23, 2014) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday (April 24, 2014) in the funeral home with the Rev. Phyllis Granger officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Oaks Corners.
Memorial contributions, in her memory, may be made to a charity of one's choice .
Pearl was born in Harrison, Kentucky, and resided in Cincinnati, Ohio, for a number of years before moving to Geneva in 1962. She was the daughter of the late John and Clara Bryant Slade. She enjoyed her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Hayes of Clifton Springs; her grandchildren, Tracy (Scott) Davis of New Jersey and James (Sheri) Hayes of Phelps; three great-grandchildren, Brandon Davis, Alex Hayes and Ashley Hayes; her brother, Robert Slade of Norwood, Ohio and; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Horan who died in 1985 and her sister, Gladys Harris and her brother, Earl Slade.
