     Robert Baker Slade was born on July 27, 1952 in Washington, District of Columbia.2 He was the son of Horace Fraker Slade and Marguerite Baker.1
     Robert married Alisa Ann Sweeney on July 28, 1976 in Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia,3, the daughter of Alma Anna Agnew & Arthur Fredrick Sweeney.3 In the early 80's, he began a 30+ year career in the restaurant business. He created Quincy's in Arlington, one of the first fine dining restaurants in the DC area to feature nationally acclaimed live entertainment. He co-founded and operated Slade's American Grill, PGA Tour Grill, Maverick, Great Falls Tavern and others.2
     Robert married Judith Ann Burruss on September 22, 1980.4
     Robert married third Jeanne [?].2 Robert died on December 10, 2016 in Arlington, Virginia, at age 64.2 His obituary read as follows:

      Robert Baker Slade, 64, of McLean, VA, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016, in Arlington, VA surrounded by family. Born July 27, 1952 in Washington DC to Horace and Marguerite (Baker) Slade, he attended Washington & Lee High School and Fork Union Academy where he was recruited to play football for Virginia Tech.

In the early 80's, he returned to the DC area where he began a 30+ year career in the restaurant business. He created Quincy's in Arlington, one of the first fine dining restaurants in the DC area to feature nationally acclaimed live entertainment. He co-founded and operated Slade's American Grill, PGA Tour Grill, Maverick, Great Falls Tavern and others.

His pastimes included golf with friends, supporting and attending his childrens' sporting events, dining, reading, travel, and spending time at the family's beach home. Bob will be remembered for his creative endeavors, competitive spirit, enthusiasm for life, and dedication to his children. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne, daughters Audrey and Nikki, son Jack, and other family including his dear sister Sandra. Services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church in McLean, VA.      Harry married Vera Lee [?] say 1921.2,5 Harry Cedric Slade was an insurance adjuster in 1930.5 Harry died on August 10, 1937 in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, at age 47.2 He was buried in Fonda, Montgomery County, New York.2

     Ernest Randolph Slade was born on July 31, 1895 in Fulton County, New York.1,3 He was the son of Albert Parsons Slade and Alice Harrison.1 He received his bachelor degree in Civil Engineering in 1918 at Union College, Schenectady, N. Y. and later did graduate work in engineering at George Washington University. During WWI, he served as a Second Lieutenant in Corps of Engineers.3
     Ernest married Alice Conrey, daughter of George Fred Conrey and Minnie B. Hunt, circa 1919.4 Ernest Randolph Slade was registered for World War 2 draft on April 26, 1942 while living in Chevy Chase, Montgomery County, Maryland.2 He was with the Navy Department in Washington, D. C.2 Ernest died on September 18, 1957 in Chevy Chase, Maryland, at age 62 At the time of his death, he was special assistant to the Director of Engineering and Technical Services Division at the Bureau of Yards and Docks, U.S. Navy Department in Washington, D. C.3 He was buried in Gloversville, Fulton County, New York.3
