Slade and Elsie May [?], in 1937.1 Rebecca died on November 8, 2006 in Carbonear, Newfoundland,1 and was buried in McDowell United Church Cemetery, Western Bay South, Newfoundland.2 Rebecca's obituary incorrectly lists her husband as William J Slade. It also indicates she was buried in McDowell Cemetery, but the tombstone is at Western Bay North Cemetery.1,2 Her obituary read as follows:
