     Kathleen Marcella Duke was born on October 28, 1914 in Richmond, Virginia.²
     Kathleen married Curtis Edward Harlow, son of Robert Eley Harlow and Charlotte Moody Willis, on August 19, 1939 in Portsmouth City, Virginia.¹ Kathleen died on June 4, 1990 at age 75² and was buried in Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, Henrico County, Virginia.²

     Joseph Slade was born on May 28, 1928 in Northamptonshire, England.^1,2,3 He was the son of George Walter Slade and Marcy Woodward.² Joseph died in July, 1987 in Northamptonshire at age 59.³

     Anthony Edward Harlow was born on December 30, 1945 in Richmond, Virginia.¹ He was the son of Curtis Edward Harlow and Kathleen Marcella Duke.² Anthony died on September 26, 2018 at age 72¹ and was buried in Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, Henrico County, Virginia.¹ His obituary read as follows:

      HARLOW, Anthony Edward, joined the Church Victorious on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Anthony was born December 30, 1945, in Richmond, Va., to
Curtis Edward Harlow and Kathleen Duke Harlow.
He was the oldest son of eight boys and had two older sisters. He was preceded in death by a sister,
Kathleen Drake (Cotton); and a brother, Dennis Harlow. Anthony was married to

Norma Walls Harlow, who died in 2015; they enjoyed many happy years together. He is survived by stepsons, Danny Duke (Kitty), Arnie Duke(Susan), Patrick Duke (Shane); grandchildren, Chris Duke (Lena), Ryan Duke (Vickie), Jason Moody, Matthew Moody (Holly), Brandon Duke, Amber Laughlin (Ian), Erin Marino (Robert), Joshua Duke; 12 great-grandchildren; sister,

Vince Harlow (Janet); several cousins, including David Duke (Elsie); and a host of other family and many dear friends. Anthony truly loved all his family and they loved him. Anthony worked for many years as a maintenance supervisor in the recreation department of Henrico County. Family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 12, at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home. His funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, at Four Mile Creek Baptist Church, 2950 New Market Rd., Henrico. Interment will follow in

Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, Va. 23060.³

     John Carlton McLynn was born circa 1912 in Trenton, New Jersey.¹ [No record of John's birth can be found in New Jersey records. John does not appear in any US census records that we can find, in North Carolina, Virginia, New Jersey, or any other state. We have also searched available military databases and enlistment records without success].

     John Carlton McLynn married Mary Kathleen Harrington, daughter of Charles P. Harrington, on May 4, 1946 in Martinsville, Virginia.^2,1 In the late 1940s, John was working for Howard Construction Company of Greensboro, North Carolina.¹

     Even though no record has been found documenting his death, John's birth year 1912 makes it very unlikely that he is still living. He does not appear in the Social Security Death Index, nor the Social Security Applications and Claims Index, 1936-2007, both on Ancestry.com. We have not found any record of his death. One theory is that John died in early 1950s due to an entry in the 1953 Charlotte, NC city directory. The entry lists "McLynn Kathleen (wid John C), bkpr Dixie News h 1208 Seigle” For lack of better evidence, we assume this the case.^3,4,5

     Mary Kathleen Harrington was born on October 26, 1913 in Greensboro, Guilford County, North Carolina.^2,3 She was the daughter of Charles P. Harrington.⁴

     Mary Kathleen Harrington married John Carlton McLynn on May 4, 1946 in Martinsville, Virginia.^5,1 Mary Kathleen Harrington was living in 1953 in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina; at 1208 Seigle.⁶ Mary died on June 18, 1993 at age 79.³ She was buried in Green Hill Cemetery, Greensboro, Guilford County, North Carolina.²

     Nannie May Talley was born on December 23, 1891 in Virginia.^2,3
     Nannie married Joseph Wesley Harlow, son of Larkin Smith Harlow and Elizabeth Kelley, on February 26, 1908 in Hanover County, Virginia.¹ Nannie died on October 3, 1977 at age 85³ and was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia.³

     Reubin Wesley Harlow was born on November 21, 1911 in Virginia.^1,3 He was the son of Joseph Wesley Harlow and Nannie May Talley.¹ Reubin died on February 9, 1972 at age 60⁴ and was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia.²
