The wedding of Miss Thirza Alma Kirvin to Mr. Thomas B. Slade, of Mexico, took place on Wednesday at the Rose Hill Baptist Church, Rev. Mr. Hurley officiating. The attendants, Miss Allie Joseph, Miss Mattie Hatcher, Miss Katharine Neill, Miss Marion Slade, Miss Clara Bruce and Miss Laura Wood, gowned in green silk and carrying shower bouquets of white chrysanthemums, preceded the maid of honor, Miss Nora Walton. The groomsmen were Mr. Peter Preir, Mr. ? Kirvin, Mr. H. F. Dismukes, Mrs. Charles Crowell, Mr. F. E. Mountcastle and Mr. George Phillips. The bride entered on the arm of her father Mr. Richard M. Kirvin and was met by the groom, with his best man, Mr. Clem Phillips, Macon, at the alter. After the ceremony the bridal party will be entertained at the home of the bride's parents, then Mr. & Mrs. Slade will leave for their new home in Mexico City.
