A resident of Santa Fe, NM, Frances was born on June 15, 1918 in the beautiful town of Pecos, NM, the daughter of Charles S. Earickson and Mary E. Harrison. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver P. Slade in 1975. She is survived by her loving children: Susan Ardis of El Paso, TX, Mike Slade of Santa Fe, NM; and a brother, Jerry of Albuquerque, NM. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her cousin and dear friend, Marjorie Teed of Santa Fe, NM. Mrs. Slade was a member of St. Francis Cathedral Parish.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesaday, May 20, 1998 at the St. Francis Cathedral Chapel. Interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
