     John Slade was born in 1774 in Taunton, Somerset, England.² He was baptized on March 6, 1774 in Taunton, Somerset.² He was the son of James Slade and Elizabeth [?].¹

     Elizabeth Slade was born on June 14, 1774 in Taunton, Somerset, England.¹ She was baptized on June 20, 1774; St. James Church of England.¹ She was the daughter of James Slade and Ann [?].¹

     Trent Slade was born on April 10, 1967 in Newfoundland.¹ He was the son of Frank L. Slade and Ruby Slade.^2,3
     Trent married Heidi Fuhl on September 5, 1992¹, the daughter of Elizabeth & Helmut Fuhl.⁴ Trent died on March 9, 2009 at age 41¹ and was buried in Anglican Cemetery, St. John's, Newfoundland, also called Kenmount Cemetery.¹ His obituary read as follows:

      Slade, Trent - Passed peacefully away on Monday, 9 March 2009, at the Health Sciences, in the presence of his loving family, Trent Slade at the age of 41 years. Leaving to mourn his wife Heidi and two darling children, Julie and Olivia; parents: Frank and Ruby Slade; sister Glenys (Sudhir); brother Shawn; father and mother-in-law Helmut and Elizabeth Fuhl;sister-in-law Judy (Gary); grandmother Effie Slade; a large circle of other relatives and friends;and his co-workers at the Institute of Ocean Technology.      Shawn Slade was born on April 15, 1963 in Newfoundland.¹ He was the son of Frank L. Slade and Ruby Slade.¹ Shawn died on November 17, 2014 at age 51.¹ He was buried in Anglican Cemetery, St. John's, Newfoundland, also called Kenmount Cemetery.¹ His obituary read as follows:

      SLADE, Shawn – Apr 15, 1963 It is with sad hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Shawn at the age of 51 years, on Monday, November 17, 2014 at the Waterford Hospital. Predeceased by
his father: Frank and brother: Trent. Lovingly remembered by his mother: Ruby,
sister: Glenys Sundaresan (Sudhir),
grandmother: Effie Slade, sister-in-law: Heidi Slade, nieces and nephews: Jay, Alex, Julie, Meera, Danny and Olivia. Also leaving to mourn are a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as his loving family on North 2B at the Waterford Hospital. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave, Mt. Pearl on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 6:00 – 9:00. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the Church of Ascension, Mt. Pearl, at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at the
Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road
