     Phyllis married Albert Slade, son of Isaac Slade and Leah Parsons.¹ Phyllis Parsons resided in Ochre Pit Cove, Newfoundland, in 2010.¹ Phyllis died on May 5, 2010 in Old Perlican, Newfoundland.¹ She was buried in United Church Cemetery, Perry's Cove, Newfoundland.¹ Her obituary read as follows:

     Grayson Thomas Slade was born circa 1944 in Come by Chance, Newfoundland.¹ He was the son of Thomas Albert Slade and Martha Jessie Penney.¹
     Grayson married Lucy Bragg², the daughter of Abram and Hilda Bragg.² Grayson died on February 12, 2013 in St. John's, Newfoundland.² He was buried in All Saints Anglican Church, Pouch Cove, Newfoundland.² His obituary read as follows:

Grayson Slade, aged 69 years. Grayson was born in Spencer’s Cove, Placentia Bay, NL and moved to St. John’s in the early 60’s. His career with Labatt Breweries of NL spanned a period of 30 years which began in quality control and he eventually moved into the position of brewmaster. Grayson is predeceased by his parents

Leaving to mourn are her daughters: Charlotte, Barbara and Donna and their families (grandchildren: Michael, Tracey, Adrian, Bradley, Charessa, Kyle and Lauren; great-grandchildren: Dominic, Hailey, Nevaeh and Isabella); sisters: Ada, Elsie, Sandra, Margaret; brothers: Lloyd, George and Calvin; and all of their extended families; other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place according to her wishes.
