Harry was the cowman on his father's farm.1 Harry immigrated from to Canada in 1912.4 Harry arrived alone in Portland, Maine, USA on 26 Apr 1912 after having departed from Liverpool, England aboard the ship 'Canada". His final destination was Toronto, Ontario. His last known residence was Bournemouth, England.5 He served in Harry had been an active member of the 44th Regt.Militia for 15 months at the time he signed his Attestation Papers. He had previously served 3 years with the 7th Hants Terr. on November 17, 1915 in Grimsby, Ontario, Canada.2 He sailed from Halifax aboard the SS Lapland.6 Harry attained the rank of Sergeant with the 98th Unit, Regl # 210888.6
     Harry married Joan MacLaren Anderson on September 15, 1923 in North Tonawanda, New York, USA. Both Harry and Joan were divorced from previous marriages.
