     Jeptha married Susanna Slade, daughter of Nicholas Slade and Martha "Polly" Amos, on March 23, 1808 in Hardin Twp, Preble Co., Ohio.2 Jeptha fought in the war of 1812.2 Jeptha died on February 9, 1846 in White County, Indiana, at age 57.1 He was buried in Davis Cemetery, Cass County, Indiana.2
