     Antonio Lanza was born on June 21, 1853 in Reggio di Calabria, Calabria, Italy.1,2 He was the son of Bruno Lanza and Catarina [?].3,4 The son of Catherine & Bruno Lanza.2 Antonio Lanza emigrated on May 7, 1881 to Buffalo, New York.5,1,6 Sometime before 1882, he moved to St. Louis, Missouri.5
     Antonio married Carmelia Foti, daughter of Santo Foti and Maria Scalzo, on April 15, 1883 in St. Louis, St Louis, Missouri, in the Italian Church.5 About 1885, they moved to Springfield, Illinois.5 Then about 1888, they moved to Quincy.56 Antonio died on December 12, 1918 in Quincy, Adams County, Illinois, at age 65.5,7 He was buried in St. Peters Cemetery, Quincy, Adams County, Illinois.8
