     William Hollis was born circa 1788 in North Carolina.2
     William married Rutha P. Robertson on December 31, 1816 in Jasper County, Georgia.3 On May 21, 1823 John Pash sold 202 1/2 Ac to William Hollis of Morgan Co, for $350. Witnesses were from Clark Co, GA. recorded 6 Feb 1824.4 William Hollis of Morgan Co sold to Thomas Hollis of Jasper Co, GA for $300. in Lot #152, 5th Dist, Monroe County, Georgia, on June 17, 1823.5 William Hollis was purchased land William Hollis of Troup Co bought 202 1/2 acres 4th Dist, Lots 107-134 from Lysander Burdock 1831. Sold same land to Richard Hollis, of Talbot Co 10 Feb 1843, Witnessed by Joseph P. Hollis. Isaac Satterwhite J. P. Same land description--William Hollis, grantor to Benjamin Walker 17 Dec 1857. recorded 7 Dec 1858. Also a William G Hollis m Elizabeth Henderson 8 Sep 1831, Jasper Co, GA and had child William Thomas Hollis b 8 Apr 1833 Marion Co, WT later married Sarah Mildred Herndon 1863 Marion Co. Sold same land to Richard Hollis, of Talbot Co 10 Feb 1843, Witnessed by Joseph P. Hollis. Isaac Satterwhite J. P. in 202 1/2 Ac Lots 107-134, 4th Dist, Troup County, Georgia, on February 10, 1843. Was appraiser for Edward Satterwhite's estate. He was purchased land Seventy acres on the waters of Big Cypress Bayou, it being to the South half of Survey #370 by virtue of an act to authorize the location, sale and settlement of the Mississippi and Pacific Railroad. Passed 25 Aug 1856.6 Land in Harris Co sold in Dec 1857 and Feb 1858. in Harris County, Georgia, in December, 1857. Same land description--William Hollis, grantor to Benjamin Walker 17 Dec 1857. recorded 7 Dec 1858. in Georgia on December 17, 1857. In Georgia in February, 1858. Paid $250 for Seventy acres on the waters of Big Cypress Bayou, it being to the South half of Survey #370 by virtue of an act to authorize the location, sale and settlement of the Mississippi and Pacific Railroad. Passed 25 Aug 1856. in Harrison County, Texas, on September 8, 1862.6 William died on October 4, 1865 in Texas.3 His estate was probated on November 27, 1865 in Marshall, Harrison County, Texas; Sixteen page settlement of estate in 1865 in Marshall, Harrison Co TX.7

     Lieuticia Hollis was born on February 12, 1819 in Georgia.1,2 She was the daughter of William Hollis and Rutha P. Robertson.
     Lieuticia married Isaac Satterwhite, son of James Satterwhite, on October 20, 1836 in Georgia.2 Lieuticia died on August 10, 1870 in Harrison County, Texas, at age 51.1 She was buried in Whitfield Cemetery, Farmington, Morris County, Texas, Could this be Whitmore?3
