     Benjamin Draper was born on August 29, 1788 in North Carolina.¹
     Benjamin married Elizabeth Nicholson in 1817 in Washington County, Indiana. Benjamin died on January 8, 1840 in Bartholomew County, Indiana, at age 51.¹ He was buried in Sandcreek Cemetery, Azalia, Bartholomew County, Indiana.¹

     Clifford W. Slade was born on March 4, 1911 in St. Clair County, Illinois.^1,2 He was the son of Harkless Alva Slade and Mary E. Wright.¹ Clifford died in May, 1958 in Illinois at age 47.²

     Lester D. Slade was born on October 7, 1914 in St. Clair County, Illinois.^1,2 He was the son of Harkless Alva Slade and Mary E. Wright.¹
     Lester married Dora [?] in 1938.³ Lester died in June, 1976 in Illinois at age 61.²

     Darvin W. Weatherford was born on September 4, 1940 in Ava, Jackson County, Illinois.¹
     Darvin married Bonnie Slade, daughter of Lester D. Slade and Dora [?], circa 1960.¹ Darvin died on April 7, 2013 at age 72.¹ He was buried in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, St. Clair County, Illinois.¹ His obituary read as follows:

      Darvin W. Weatherford, 72, of Belleville, Ill., born Sept. 4, 1940, in Ava, Ill., died on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Ill.

Darvin retired from Belleville Township High School District #201 where he worked as a maintenance man. He also was a retired truck driver for Frerichs Freight Line, Inc. He was a member of the SEIU union/retirees club. He was an avid stock car fan and past driver, and a member of Allied Auto Racing Association.

Darvin was preceded in death by a son, Richard Weatherford; parents, Clifford and Erville, nee Smith, Weatherford; his in-laws, Lester and Dora Slade; and a sister-in-law, Jean Webb.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Bonnie, nee Slade, Weatherford; his daughter, Pam (Bill) Gallagher of Swansea, Ill; his son, Dennis (Michelle) Weatherford of Belleville, Ill; four granddaughters, Kim Weatherford, Mandy Gallagher, Jenni Weatherford and Brittany Thomure; three great-granddaughters, Mackinizie Gibbs, Ryleigh Gibbs and Madasyn Thomure; a great-grandson, Jaxon Shrout; a sister, Peggy Messner; a brother, Dave Weatherford; a sister-in-law, Judy (Stan) Bacewski; a daughter-in-law, Janet Weatherford; and, nieces and nephews.

     Virgina Teresa Aufmann was born on March 24, 1925 in Cook County, Illinois.¹
     Virgina married Leland Raymond Slade, son of Earl Elmer Slade and Ora Pansy Baker.¹ Virgina died on September 3, 2008 in San Diego County, California, at age 83.

     Richard Leland Slade was born on April 16, 1946 in Cook County, Illinois.¹ He was the son of Leland Raymond Slade and Virgina Teresa Aufmann. Richard died on February 21, 1996 at age 49.¹

     Oris G. Johnson was born circa 1902 in Indiana.^1,2
     Oris married Delores M. Slade, daughter of Henry Edward Slade and Clara Anna Caroline Geyer.¹ Oris died on December 4, 1993² and was buried in Vallonia Cemetery, Jackson County, Indiana.²

     David Michael Slade was born on April 27, 1950 in Cook County, Illinois.¹ He was the son of Arnold Earl Slade and Virginia Belle Robinson.¹
     David married Treva J. Kindle in June, 1973^1,2, the daughter of John (Jack) and Dorethea (Lichtenthaler) Kindle.² David died on April 19, 1985 at age 34.³ He was buried in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park, Kenosha, Kenosha County, Wisconsin.¹

     Treva J. Kindle was born on December 10, 1952 in Carrollton, Missouri,², the daughter of John (Jack) and Dorethea (Lichtenthaler) Kindle.²
     Treva married David Michael Slade, son of Arnold Earl Slade and Virginia Belle Robinson, in June, 1973.^1,2 Treva died on December 18, 2017 at age 65.³ Her obituary read as follows:

      Treva Jean (Kindle) Slade, age 65 of Kenosha, Wisconsin, died peacefully at her home on December 18, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Treva was born December 10, 1952, in Carrollton, Missouri, the daughter of the late John (Jack) and the late Dorethea (Lichtenhaler) Kindle.

Treva graduated from Tremper High School in 1969 and later married the late David Michael Slade in June 1973. During her life, Treva enjoyed playing softball, cooking, and being a grandmother. She was a former member of the Pentecostal Church of God, and was a longtime caregiver for a local care facility before she retired in 2013. Treva was the mother of three children: Dorothy “Dee” (Ron) Slade-Kiss of Palatine, IL, Traci (Nicholas) Paczkowski-Slade of Kenosha, WI, and David (Stephanie) Slade, Jr. of Aiken, SC.

Treva was preceded in death by her mother, Dorthea, her father, John “Jack”, her husband David, and her brother Howard. She is survived by her sisters: Lequita Dickson of Marshall, MO, Jaquenette (Ben) Culver of Warrensburg, MO, and Linette (Raymond) Lester of Carrollton, MO. She is also survived by six grandchildren, who she absolutely adored: Kalani Kiss, Ryan (Kristina) Ricchio, Alyssa Ricchio, Sydnee Paczkowski, Sophia Slade, and Carissa Slade.²
