      With feelings of great loss, the family of Edward (Ned) Slade must share that he lost his battle with illness, surrounded by his loving family. He quietly passed from his earthly home to his forever home, with the Lord on Friday, July 5, 2019 at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's. Edward (Ned) was born on June 21, 1951 to Margaret (Fortune) and Edward Slade, Sr. Ned grew up and lived in Carbonear. He was married Elizabeth White in 1971 and they have enjoyed 48 years together.

He is survived by his: Loving Wife: Elizabeth Slade
