Louis John Malette Charboneau1

Louis John Malette Charboneau was born on September 13, 1813 in St. Genevieve, Washington, Missouri.1,2 He was the son of Pascal Malette and Marie Louise LaViolette.3 Louis John Malette Charboneau was baptized on September 30, 1815 in Old Mines, Washington, Missouri. Translation of the baptismal document from French: "...the ileigitimate son of Marie LaViolette, the father Pascal Malette".
Interestingly, on that same day was baptised the two legitimate sons of Pascal Malette's marriage to Margauerite Boissy. Makes one wonder if the scheduling was a show of concern for the spriritual well being of the infants or a vengeful reminder by Marie that Louis was also his son?3
Louis married Adelaide Harriette Delcour on September 1, 1835 in Washington, Missouri.4 Louis died on June 21, 1894 in Richwoods, Washington, Missouri, at age 80.1 He was buried He was buried on his farm in Richwoods, Washington, Missouri.2
