William Willett

William Willett was born on September 26, 1619 in Alyesbury, Buckimnghamshire, England. He was the son of Willam Willett and Anne Stringer. William Willett resided in Mount Calvert, Calvert County, Colonial Maryland.1
William married Bridget Gosden circa 1665 in Mount Calvert, Colonial Maryland.2 William Willett was land William received various land grants in the form of head rights for transporting people to Maryland in 1666.2 The merchant who was instrumental in bringing more settlers to Maryland and originally brought his nephew, Edward (future pewterer), son of his brother Edward to Maryland.3 William was part of a jury in St. Mary's County.2 William died before October, 1685 in Mount Calvert, Colonial Maryland, He died intestate.2
