     William Willett was born circa 1628 in Hertford, England.¹ He was the son of Willam Willett and Anne [?].¹
     William married Mary [?] circa 1660 in Great Berkhampsted, Hertford, England.² Witnessed the Last Will and Testament of John Luonth.¹
     William married Elizabeth [?] circa 1686 in Great Berkhampsted.³ Gave a deposition in a Court proceeding, Walwyn v. Hill & Ors.⁴

     Andrew Willett was born in 1562 in Ely, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He was the son of Thomas Willett and Elizabeth Stanton?² He entered Cambridge University at the age of 15 and graduated in 1580 with a B.A. He recieved a fellowship to Christ College in 1583, graduated with his M.A. in 1584 and was appointed a member of the faculty at Oxford University.He took holy orders in 1585 and was admitted 22 July 1587, on presentation by Queen Elizabeth, to the fifth prbendal stall of Ely Cathedral [his father had resigned for him]. He graduated B.D. in 1591.²
     Andrew married Jacobine Goad on September 29, 1588 in Cambridgeshire, England.³ Held the living at Childerly until 1594 when he left to go to St. Margaret's after his father's passing in 15 98.² He received his Doctor of Divinity.² "Rev. Willett was an eloquent preacher and was selected to read the lectures for three years at St. Paul's School, London. He spent twenty-three years as minister at Barley, and was chaplain-in-ordinary, and tutor to Prince Henry of Wales, son of James I, as well as a frequent preacher before the Court. He was in disfavor with the King for a time on account of his opposition to the marriage of the King's son, Charles [later Charles I] to Henrietta Maria, the sister of Louis XIII, King of France. He was imprisoned for one month as a result of this opposition.

He wrote 39 books.² He was called the 'Walking Encyclopedia" by his friends.² "Doctor Willett, parson of this town of Barleye and according to statute made by Queen Elizabeth made a lycence to one Martha Adshed wife of Hamlet Adshed being verye sicke dwelling in the towne of Royston in the countie of Hertford to exte flesh during the time of his sickness."⁴ Andrew died on September 4, 1621 in Hadsden, Hertford, England, His death was an accident. He was thrown from his horse as he traveled home from London and broke his leg. The leg was not properly treated and he died ten days later at an Inn in Hadsden.² He was buried in St. Margaret's Church, Barley, Hertford, England.²

     Rebecca Willett was born circa 1658 in Hertford, England.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Willett and Elizabeth Pegg.¹ Rebecca died on January 17, 1667 in Hertford, England.¹
