     Lola P. Slade was born on September 19, 1884 in Winhall, Bennington County, Vermont.¹ She was the daughter of George Franklin Slade and Margarett J. McClellan.¹
     Lola married Harold Coleman.¹ Lola died on November 28, 1963 at age 79² and was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Newfane, Windham County, Vermont.²

     Myrtle Bolster was born on January 27, 1883 in Bennington County, Vermont.² She was the daughter of Eugene L. Bolster and Flora Hewes.³
     Myrtle married David Chase Slade, son of George Franklin Slade and Margarett J. McClellan, on February 14, 1905.^1,3 Myrtle died on September 19, 1972 at age 89² and was buried in Bondville Cemetery, Windham County, Vermont.²

     Chester Linwood Slade was born on March 20, 1907 in Bennington County, Vermont.^2,3 He was the son of David Chase Slade and Myrtle Bolster.²
     Chester married Bertha Marion Sage on March 31, 1928 in Brattleboro, Windham County, Vermont.¹ Chester died on August 4, 1933 at age 26³ and was buried in Bondville Cemetery, Windham County, Vermont.³

     Carleton Francis Slade was also known as Francis Carleton Slade.¹ He was born on September 10, 1917 in Springfield, Windsor County, Vermont.¹ He was the son of Frank Clinton Slade and Charlotte Frances Shea.¹
     Carleton married Veronica Elizabeth Young on November 24, 1938 in Springfield, Vermont.² She was the daughter of Edith Bell & Henry Young.³ Carleton died on January 19, 1985 in Hartford, Windsor County, Vermont, at age 67.⁴ He was buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Claremont, Sullivan County, New Hampshire.⁵ His obituary read as follows:

      Carleton Francis Slade died in Hartford, VT on January 19, 1985. He was born on September 10, 1917 in Springfield, VT; the son of Frank and Lottie (Shea) Slade.

He married Veronica Young on November 24, 1938 in Springfield, VT but they later divorced.

He is survived by sons Gary, Richard, and Paul Slade

     Veronica married Carleton Francis Slade, son of Frank Clinton Slade and Charlotte Frances Shea, on November 24, 1938 in Springfield, Vermont.¹ Veronica died on March 13, 2000 at age 79.⁵ She was buried in St. Mary Cemetery, Claremont, Sullivan County, New Hampshire.⁶

     Hannah C. Hayes was born in February, 1849 in Waterbury, Vermont.^2,3 She was the daughter of Thomas Hayes and Mary McDonnell.⁴
     Hannah married Ora Slade Jr., son of Ora Slade and Lucia Dean.¹ Hannah's daughter Cora Vital died in Jan 1900, so she cared for the three grandchildren.⁵ Hannah died on October 24, 1925 at age 76.⁶ She was buried in Woodlands Cemetery, Cambridge, Washington County, New York.⁴ Her obituary read as follows:

      Mrs. Hannah C. Slade, a resident of Cambridge for about 35 years, died Saturday night after a year's illness. Mrs. Slade was born at Waterbury, Vt., in 1849, and was the widow of Ora Slade. The survivors are a daughter, Mrs. William B. Whitney of Bainbridge; a brother, John Hayes of Manchester, Vt; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Phelps of Pawlet, Vt., and Mrs. Sara M. Randall of Cambridge; seven grandchildren, Clinton H. Vetal of this city, Millard Vetal of Cambridge, Mrs. Leonard Bacon of Chelsea, Vt., Alson Clark of Charleston, N.H., Gordon Clark of Bainbridge and Harold and Helen Slade of Springfield, Vt; and three great grandchildren. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence of Millard Vetal, at Cambridge. Rev. H.A. Ferguson officiating. Interment will be in Woodlands Cemetery.      Cora May Slade was born in April, 1868 in Arlington, Bennington County, Vermont.¹ She was the daughter of Ora Slade Jr. and Hannah C. Hayes.¹
     Cora married George Vital, son of Frank Vital.¹ Cora died on January 10, 1900 in Cambridge, Washington County, New York, at age 31.¹ She was buried in Woodlands Cemetery, Cambridge, Washington County, New York.²
After Cora died, her mother, Hannah Hayes Slade, cared for and raised her children, Ora, Clinton and Helen Vital.^1,3

     Harvey Thomas Slade was born on January 24, 1870 in Arlington, Bennington County, Vermont.^1,2 He was the son of Ora Slade Jr. and Hannah C. Hayes.¹
     Harvey married Lilla J. Griswold³, the daughter of Jane & Francis Griswold of Windsor, Vermont. Harvey died on March 15, 1916 in Springfield, Windsor County, Vermont, at age 46.² He was buried in Oakland Cemetery, Springfield, Windsor County, Vermont.⁴

     Agnes Louise Slade was born on April 8, 1872 in Arlington, Bennington County, Vermont.¹ She was the daughter of Ora Slade Jr. and Hannah C. Hayes.¹
     Agnes married Omer John Clark, son of Daniel Clark and Pamelia G. [?], on January 13, 1891.¹

     Ida Belle Slade was born in February, 1874 in Arlington, Bennington County, Vermont.¹ She was the daughter of Ora Slade Jr. and Hannah C. Hayes.¹
     Ida married Alston Clark, son of Daniel Clark and Pamelia G. [?], on January 1, 1893.¹ Ida died on August 12, 1894 at age 20.¹
