     Clark Boyden Slade was born on February 23, 1925 in Utah.^2,3 He was the son of Benjamin Franklin Slade and Lillie Maude Jones.¹ Clark Boyden Slade enlisted on October 9, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah.² He was buried in Central Cemetery, Washington County, Utah.⁴ His obituary read as follows:

      Clark was born on February 23, 1925 and passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017. Clark was a resident of Utah at the time of passing. He proudly served his country in the Army Air Corps (Airforce) in World War II and served in the 99th B-17 bomber group; flying many missions over the European theater.      Phillip Hope Slade was born on February 27, 1922 in St. George, Washington County, Utah.¹ He was the son of Benjamin Franklin Slade and Lillie Maude Jones.² Phillip died on July 4, 1941 at age 19.¹ He was buried in Central Cemetery, Washington County, Utah.¹

     Dwane Ward Esplin was born on December 6, 1921 in St. George, Washington County, Utah.¹
     Dwane married Lou Slade, daughter of Benjamin Franklin Slade and Lillie Maude Jones.^2,1 Dwane died on April 7, 1993 at age 71.¹ He was buried in St. George City Cemetery, St. George, Washington County, Utah.¹

     June Slade was born on June 13, 1919 in Redmesa, La Plata County, Colorado.¹

     James married Olive Bicknell Buckingham, daughter of Edward T. Buckingham and Harriet Peck, on June 1, 1914 in East Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island.²

     Lt. Col. Clyde M. Slade was born on June 25, 1930 in Rhode Island.^1,2 He was the son of James Frampton Slade Jr. and Olive Bicknell Buckingham.¹ Clyde died on October 17, 1995 at age 65.² He was buried in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Norman, Cleveland County, Oklahoma.²

     Frampton Buckingham Slade was born on July 5, 1915 in Cumberland, Providence County, Rhode Island.¹ He was the son of James Frampton Slade Jr. and Olive Bicknell Buckingham.¹
     Frampton married Alice J. Johnston.² She was the daughter of Thomas Johnston and Alice Livesy.³ Frampton died on June 9, 1997 at age 81.¹ He was buried in Newell Burying Ground, Attleboro, Bristol County, Massachusetts.² His obituary read as follows:

      FRAMPTON B. SLADE, 81, of Arland Drive, a sales engineer at Nightingale, Baker & Salisbury in East Providence for 14 years before retiring in 1987, died Monday at Roger Williams Medical Center. He was the husband of Alice (Johnston) Slade.

Born in Cumberland, a son of the late James F. and Olive (Buckingham) Slade, he lived in Pawtucket for 58 years. Mr. and Mrs. Slade celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on June 3rd.

Mr. Slade had been a sales engineer for Achorn Steel Company in Boston and Crucible Steel Company in Providence.

He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving as a staff sergeant in the 3410th Service Command. He was a life member of Jenks Lodge 24 F&AM in Pawtucket. He was a past chairman and life member of the Rhode Island Chapter, American Society for Metals International, and a past chairman and life member of the Southeastern Massachusetts Society of Manufacturing Engineers. He was a member of the AARP.

Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Gail S. Sarahs of Brockton, Mass; a son, Alan F. Slade of North Kingstown; a sister, Thelma Harrison of Riverside; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Alan and Clyde Slade.

A Masonic service will be conducted by the members of Jenks Lodge 24 F&AM tomorrow at 7 p.m. in the Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Rd., Lincoln. The funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Bellows Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Newell Burying Ground, South Attleboro, Mass.⁴
