      BOSSIER CITY, LA – Graveside services for Dorothy Slade McDaniel 96, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2015 at Forest Park West Cemetery, with Bro. Joey Ketchum officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for visitation on Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Dorothy was born on August 5, 1918 in Newsome, Texas and passed away July 21 2015 and she was a charter member of Western Hills Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by husbands, H.Q. McDaniel and Berchie Foy; son, Doyle McDaniel and four brothers and one sister.
She is survived by daughter, Linda Russell (Kenneth), daughter-in-law, Patricia McDaniel; grandchildren, Brad McDaniel (Emma), Brian McDaniel (Emily), great-grandchildren, Clairel, Cooper , Ava and Keenan McDaniel; and one sister, Ruth Courtney.3
