     Sarah married Garrett Davis Slade, son of Ezekiel Harvey Slade and Rachel Roberts, circa 1888.⁴ Sarah died on January 5, 1950 at age 78¹ and was buried in Tidwell Cemetery, Hunt County, Texas.¹

     Rufus Vernon Slade was born on September 2, 1889 in Texas.^1,2,3 He was the son of Garrett Davis Slade and Sarah Elizabeth Johnson.¹
     Rufus married Ethel L. Funston on October 2, 1910 in Lamar County, Texas.⁴ Rufus died on August 21, 1951 at age 61.⁵ He was buried in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.⁶

     William Corbett Slade was born on February 11, 1892 in Wilbarger County, Texas.^3,4 He was the son of Garrett Davis Slade and Sarah Elizabeth Johnson.¹
     William married Louise Bennett Stuart.⁵ William Corbett Slade registered for WWI draft in 1918 at Red River County, Texas.³ In 1918, he was a farmer living in Davenport, Texas, with a wife and one child.³ William died on February 9, 1983 at age 90.⁶ He was buried in Braman Cemetery, Braman, Kay County, Oklahoma.⁴

     Samuel Albert Slade was born on November 20, 1893 in Delta County, Texas. [1910 census records his middle name as Alvin]^3,4 He was the son of Garrett Davis Slade and Sarah Elizabeth Johnson.³ Samuel Albert Slade was New Tag circa 1895 in Texas.¹
     Samuel married Frances A. Stuart, daughter of Louis Stuart, circa 1915.¹ Samuel died on June 11, 1963 in Gregg County, Texas, at age 69⁵ and was buried in Gladewater Memorial Park, Upshur County, Texas.^5,4

     Verda Ellen Slade was born in January, 1895 in Lamar County, Texas.¹ She was the daughter of Garrett Davis Slade and Sarah Elizabeth Johnson.¹
     Verda married Elmer A. Harris on January 25, 1914.² Verda died on October 26, 1983 at age 88.³ She was buried in Tidwell Cemetery, Hunt County, Texas.³

     Henry Charles Slade was born circa 1870 in North Perrott, Somerset, England.² He was the son of Arthur James Slade and Elizabeth [?].²

     William M Slade was born on March 1, 1806 in Caswell County, North Carolina.² He was the son of Ezekiel Slade and Mary Hubbard.¹
     William married Sarah Reaborn on December 23, 1856 in North Carolina.³ William and his brother Abisha operated a grist mill on the South Fork of Rattlesnake Creek.⁴ William died on October 18, 1882 at age 76.²

     William Wise Slade was born in October, 1859 in Caswell County, North Carolina.^2,3 He was the son of William M Slade and Sarah Reaborn.²
     William married Nettie Elizabeth Peterson, daughter of Moses Peterson and Eliza [?], on November 21, 1883 in North Carolina.⁴ William Wise Slade was listed as William Z in 1910 census. William died in 1917⁵ and was buried in Union United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pleasant Grove, Caswell County, North Carolina.⁵

     Nettie Elizabeth Peterson was born in January, 1860 in North Carolina both parents born NC.² She was the daughter of Moses Peterson and Eliza [?].¹
     Nettie married William Wise Slade, son of William M Slade and Sarah Reaborn, on November 21, 1883 in Caswell County, North Carolina.³ Nettie Elizabeth Peterson was living in September, 1918 in Danville, Virginia; according to WW1 registration card of her son Albert.⁴ Nettie died in 1935⁵ and was buried in Union United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pleasant Grove, Caswell County, North Carolina.⁵

     Albert Lambeth Slade was born on July 18, 1885 in Caswell County, North Carolina. [1900 census indicates b July 1884]^2,3 He was the son of William Wise Slade and Nettie Elizabeth Peterson.²
     Albert married Daisy Brooks, daughter of James W. Brooks and Ella Bradsher, on April 9, 1921 in North Carolina.¹ Albert died on March 7, 1948 at age 62.^1,3 He was buried in Union United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pleasant Grove, Caswell County, North Carolina.³

     Daisy Brooks was born on August 12, 1905 in Caswell County, North Carolina.^2,3 She was the daughter of James W. Brooks and Ella Bradsher.¹
     Daisy married Albert Lambeth Slade, son of William Wise Slade and Nettie Elizabeth Peterson, on April 9, 1921 in North Carolina.² Daisy died on February 13, 1996 at age 90.³ She was buried in Union United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pleasant Grove, Caswell County, North Carolina.³

     Stella married Lawrence Harvey Slade, son of Samuel David Slade and Permelia Catherine Raney, in 1905.^2,4 Stella died on January 18, 1962 in Parkland Hospital, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, at age 74.³ She was buried in Cumby Cemetery, Hopkins County, Texas.¹

     Kathryn Slade was born on October 21, 1897 in Texas.^1,2 She was the daughter of Samuel David Slade and Permelia Catherine Raney. Kathryn died on November 7, 1957 in French Camp, San Joaquin County, California, at age 60.²
