     Martin Slade was born in December, 1845 in Bavaria [Martin's tombstone shows date of birth Dec 21, 1842].^2,3
     Martin married Caroline Hoffman on January 5, 1869.^1,4 Martin's surname clearly appears as SLADE on his marraige certificate and other early documents, however, most of his census and other later documents spell it SLATE] Martin died on September 11, 1910 at age 64.³ He was buried in Greenbrier Cemetery, Robertson County, Tennessee.³

      She was born on December 16, 1868 in Marion County, Mississippi.^2,1 She was the daughter of Matthew Houston Carlisle and Eliza Jane Tyrone.^2,3
     Margaret married Ebenezer Franklin Slade, son of Samuel S. Slade and Arretta Davis, on January 21, 1897 in Mississippi.⁴ Margaret died in August, 1942 at age 73¹ and was buried in Society Hill Cemetery, Prentiss, Jefferson Davis County, Mississippi.¹

     Hattie Elenia Miller was born on October 9, 1876 in Clinton Twp, Lincoln County, Ontario, Canada.¹ She was the daughter of Tempust Tucker Miller and Catherine Grobb.¹ Hattie immigrated from Canada to New York in 1889.²
     Hattie married Henry Guy Slade, son of George Slade and Selina Eliza Guy, on June 1, 1898 in Niagra Falls, New York, USA.^3,4 Hattie Elenia Miller and Henry Guy Slade were naturalized on March 21, 1910; by the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York.⁵ Hattie died on August 4, 1965 at age 88⁶ and was buried in Elmlawn Cemetery, Kenmore, Erie County, New York.⁶

     Fred M. Slade was born on April 4, 1904 in Clearfork District, Tazewell County, Virginia.^1,3 He was the son of Giles Monroe Slade and Amy Mae Leffel.¹
     Fred married Dorothy Albert.⁴ Fred died on September 4, 1985 at age 81³ and was buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, Bluefield, Tazewell County, Virginia.³

     William Richard George Slade was born circa 1843 in England.¹ He was the son of Elizbeth Hounsell.³
     William married Emma Augusta Seymour on July 2, 1867 in Bridport, Bridport, Dorset, England.⁴

     Grace Anderson was born in 1878 in Indiana.
     Grace married Thomas Slade, son of William Slade and Phoebe J. Goff, circa 1897.
     Grace married second Jay Ola Eaton on October 16, 1909.³

     Arthur James Slade was known as James.² He was baptized on July 12, 1834 in North Perrott, Somerset, England.^1,3 He was the son of William Slade and Harriet Mitchell.^1,3 Arthur James Slade was a blacksmith in 1851.²
     Arthur married Sarah Anne Gear on January 1, 1857 in North Perrott, Somerset, in the Parish Church⁴, the daughter of Maryanna Rainle & George Gear.⁴
     Arthur married Elizabeth [?].⁵ Arthur died in March, 1901 in North Perrott, Somerset, at age 66 [burial Mar 20, 1901].⁶

     Harriette Slade was born in 1848 in Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of Elias Slade and Susana [?].¹
     Harriette married Delmer Swearingen on January 5, 1970 in Bucyrus, Ohio.² Harriette died on October 8, 1972.²

     Ida Veva Dutton was born on May 25, 1890 in Wednesbury, Staffordshire, England.^2,3 She was the daughter of Charles Dutton and Anne Ayers.⁴
     Ida married Joseph Charles Slade, son of Charles Edwin Slade and Sarah Dudley, on November 28, 1915 in West Bromwich District, Staffordshire, England.^5,3 Ida immigrated from sailing from Liverpool aboard the ship Carmania, with children, Joseph C, 3y 11m and Nellie D, 1y 9m to New York City, New York, on September 9, 1922.⁶ Ida died on October 26, 1953 at age 63⁷ and was buried in East Akron Cemetery, Akron, Summit County, Ohio.⁷

     Joseph Charles Slade Jr. was born in October, 1918 in Wednesbury, Staffordshire, England.^2,3 He was the son of Joseph Charles Slade and Ida Veva Dutton.⁴ Joseph Charles Slade Jr. immigrated with Ida Veva Dutton from sailing from Liverpool aboard the ship Carmania, with children, Joseph C, 3y 11m and Nellie D, 1y 9m to New York City, New York, on September 9, 1922.³
     Joseph married Georgia E. Bird, daughter of Frank Bird and Sarah Shaffer.⁵ Joseph died on September 13, 1985 in Akron, Summit County, Ohio, at age 66.⁶ He was buried in Hillside Memorial Park, Summit County, Ohio.⁶ His obituary read as follows:

     Mark Daniel Slade was born on February 24, 1985 in Havre, Hill County, Montana.¹ He was the son of Bud Slade and Beth Salsbery.¹
     Mark married Melanie Green, daughter of Jean Green.¹ Mark died on July 8, 2016 at age 31.¹ His obituary read as follows:

Mark could be found at a very early age fishing with his friends, Maxie in the morning and golfing with George in the afternoon.He is survived by his wife Melanie and daughter Mya, his parents Bud and Beth Slade a brother Jim (Jonnae) Slade and nephew Kellen of Billings MT, and his two dogs Ada and Sadie.      Nellie Doreen Slade was born on November 14, 1920 in Wednesbury, Staffordshire, England.^2,3 She was the daughter of Joseph Charles Slade and Ida Veva Dutton.⁴ Nellie Doreen Slade immigrated with Ida Veva Dutton from sailing from Liverpool aboard the ship Carmania, with children, Joseph C, 3y 11m and Nellie D, 1y 9m to New York City, New York, on September 9, 1922.²
     Nellie married Edward M. LaMotte.⁵ Nellie Doreen Slade was living in 1985 in Torrance, California.⁶ Nellie died on August 27, 1991 in Torrance, Los Angeles County, California, at age 70^3,1 and was buried in Eastside Memorial Park, Minden, Douglas County, Nevada.⁷
