     Alzora Margaret Slade was born on March 21, 1869 in Marion County, Mississippi.² She was the daughter of Charles R. Slade and Susan Sophronia Baxter.
     Alzora married Benjamin Pierce Tyner on February 24, 1889.² Alzora died on September 26, 1943 at age 74.²

     Emanuel McCoy Slade was born on November 12, 1898 in Marion County, Mississippi.^1,2 He was the son of George Willis Slade and Missouri E. Slade.
     Emanuel married Ivanosia Partie on April 20, 1924 in Forrest County, Mississippi.³ Emanuel died on July 21, 1975 in Lamar County, Mississippi, at age 76.²

     William Ernest Slade was born on February 7, 1926 in Lamar County, Mississippi.^1,2 He was the son of William F. Slade and Hilda Olival.^3,4
     William married Hilda Olival.
     William married second Agnes F. Cabral in 1951 in Hawaii.⁴ William died on February 15, 2012 at age 86.⁴ He was buried in Chapel of the Chimes, Alameda County, California.⁴ His obituary read as follows:

      William E. Slade Feb. 7, 1926 - Feb. 15. 2012 Resident of Hayward William E. Slade was born on February 7, 1926 in Purvis, Mississippi. He married Agnes Santos in 1951 and they recently celebrated 60 years of marriage. He just celebrated his 86th birthday when he peacefully passed away. He was a loving father to seven children. He loved to cook, fish, garden, enjoyed the horserace track and his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He served in the U. S. Navy and was stationed at Pearl Harbor. After his tour of duty, he remained in Hawaii and became a police officer. He met Agnes while in Hawaii. In 1960, the family all moved to California where he owned and operated a service station. Survivors include: His wife, Agnes Slade, and children: Ray Santos, Charlie Santos, Gordon Santos, Claudia Smith, Wilma Johnson and William Slade, Jr. His daughter, Vicki Allen, predeceased him. He had numerous beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He led an unselfish life and was a devoted husband and father. He was greatly loved by his family and will be clearly missed and remembered. A memorial service will be held at the Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM.

     Esther Mae Slade went by Mae. She was born in 1913 in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana.¹ She was the daughter of Ralph Demings Slade and Cora Elizabeth Anderson.
     Esther married Jack Barron.² Esther Mae Slade was living in November, 1963 in Bossier City, Bossier Parish, Louisiana; at the time of her father's death.³

     Ethel Slade was born in August, 1885.¹ She was the daughter of William Franklin Slade and Sarah Caroline Davis.
     Ethel married Joseph J. Dearman.

     Eugene Quitman Slade was born on June 14, 1898 in Marion County, Mississippi.^2,3,1 He was the son of Ebenezer Franklin Slade and Margaret Dezelle Carlisle.
     Eugene married first Agnes O. Herrington.⁴ Eugene Quitman Slade was registered in the draft for World War I on September 5, 1918 in Lake Charles, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.¹ Eugene was an automobile mechanic.⁵
     Eugene married second Dorothy Rose Boyd.⁶
     Eugene Quitman Slade registered for the draft for World War II in February 16, 1942, while living at Jackson, Hinds County, Mississippi.⁷ Eugene died in February, 1966 at age 67.³ He was buried in Raymond Cemetery, Raymond, Hinds County, Mississippi.⁸

     Eula Slade was born circa 1902 in Lamar County, Mississippi.¹ She was the daughter of John Calvin Slade and Florence Cole.¹
     Eula married Dewitt Welsh on August 11, 1923 in Forrest County, Mississippi.²

     Eva Mae Slade was born on October 24, 1920 in Pearl River County, Mississippi.^1,2 She was the daughter of George Washington Slade and Julia Velma Martin.
     Eva married J. Monroe Spiers on November 14, 1942.^3,4 Eva died on January 5, 2013 at age 92.² Eva Mae's name appears on the tombstone with her husband J. Monroe Spiers at Poplarville Cemetery, however, it is not known if she is actually buried there.⁴

     Flemon Slade was born on June 18, 1858 in Mississippi [tombstone shows Jun 18, 1866, but that cannot be correct according to other sources].¹ He was the son of Daniel Slade and Sarah Baxter.
     Flemon married Ophellia Stogner in Mississippi.² Flemon died on January 20, 1903 in Marion County, Mississippi, at age 44.¹ He was buried in Corinth Cemetery, Lumberton, Lamar County, Mississippi.³

     Frances Almeta Slade was born on March 19, 1870.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Slade and Sarah Martha Dearman.
     Frances married Robert Lee Hollingsworth on October 5, 1888 in Lumberton, Marion County, Mississippi.¹ Frances died on September 1, 1932 in Hattiesburg, Forrest County, Mississippi, at age 62.¹

     Frank H. Slade was born on October 7, 1906 in Mississippi.¹ He was the son of John Travis Slade and Lottie Lockhart.
     Frank married Mildred Cain. Frank died on December 29, 1981 at age 75.¹ He was buried in Highland Cemetery, Hattiesburg, Forrest County, Mississippi.²

     Franklin E. Slade was born in 1849 in Marion County, Mississippi.¹ He was the son of Henry Slade and Susannah Lott.
     Franklin married Francis E. Davis circa 1870 in Mississippi.^2,3

     Gabriella Slade was born on January 16, 1865 in Marion County, Mississippi.^2,1 She was the daughter of Charles R. Slade and Susan Sophronia Baxter.
     Gabriella married W. Scott Slimp on November 23, 1884.²
     Gabriella married Gustava Newman circa 1895. Gabriella died on May 15, 1913 at age 48.²

     Gabriella Slade was born on December 24, 1883.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel S. Slade and Arretta Davis.
     Gabriella married Andrew Jackson Cayten on March 20, 1899.¹ Gabriella died on June 30, 1951 at age 67.¹

     Gary Guy Slade was born on October 6, 1908 in Lamar County, Mississippi.^1,2 He was the son of John Calvin Slade and Florence Cole.³
     Gary married Thelma Nancy Howard in Forrest County, Mississippi.¹ Gary died on July 17, 1985 at age 76.² He was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Lamar County, Mississippi.²

     Gaston Ray Slade was born on January 19, 1932 in Lamar County, Mississippi.¹ He was the son of Johnnie J. Slade and Bernith Claiborn.¹ Gaston died on May 29, 2001 in Quinlan, Hunt County, Texas, at age 69.¹ He was buried in Lakeside Memorial Park, Hunt County, Texas.² His obituary read as follows:

      QUINLAN , Hunt Co, TX Gaston Ray Slade of West Tawakoni died Tuesday in Greenville. There is a graveside service at 2 p.m. today at Lakeside Memorial Park. Son of Johnny and Brunettie Claborn Slade, he was born Jan. 19, 1932 in Lamar County, Miss. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Slade was a truck driver. He was a born again Christian. Mr. Slade is survived by his wife, Ethel Slade; a son, Dwayne Slade; daughters Angela Thomas and Cherry Slade; brothers Rev. Jessie Slade, Hilton Slade, William Brown and Billy Brown; a sister, Glenda Faye Munn and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Lucretia Acki-Slade.²

     George Washington Slade was born on November 13, 1875 in Marion County, Mississippi.^1,2 He was the son of Seborn Slade and Melviny Bond.
     George married Julia Velma Martin on April 21, 1896 in Mississippi.¹ George Washington Slade was registered in the draft for World War I on September 12, 1918 in Pearl River County, Mississippi.² George died on December 10, 1973 at age 98.³ He was buried in Springhill Cemetery, 5 mi N of Poplarville, Pearl River County, Mississippi.¹

     George W. Slade was born on June 22, 1845 in Marion County, Mississippi.¹ He was the son of Hezekiah Slade and Helena Victoria Taylor. George joined the Confederacy at age 17, fought and was wounded.
     George married Ann Jane Smith, daughter of J. P. Smith and Mary [?], on April 12, 1864.¹ George died on January 2, 1874 at age 28.¹ He was buried in Juniper Grove Cemetery, Poplarville, Pearl River County, Mississippi.

     George Willis Slade was born on August 21, 1875 in Marion County, Mississippi.¹ He was the son of Charles R. Slade and Susan Sophronia Baxter. George married Missouri E. Slade, daughter of Franklin E. Slade and Francis E. Davis, on May 9, 1895.^2,3 George Willis Slade was registered in the draft for World War I on September 12, 1918 in Lamar County, Mississippi.² George died on August 20, 1938 at age 62¹ and was buried in Slade Cemetery on Deavers Road, Lamar County, Mississippi.¹
