Manuel McCoy Slade, Jr, age 86 of Gulfport, passed away on February 24, 2014 in Gulfport.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Beverly Slade of Gulfport; his children, Rickey Slade, Michael Carlisle, and Diane Dombrowski and her husband, Toby, all of Gulfport, and Rhonda Eden of Picayune; seven grandchildren, Jeremy Slade, Jennifer Slade, Maleigha Carlisle, Alan Sullivan, Nathan Sullivan, Christine Lee, and Melissa Lee; five great grandchildren, three siblings, Larry Slade and his wife, Laura of Gulfport, Partin Slade of Purvis, and Beverly Baker and her husband, Michael of Mobile; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses. He was a masonry contractor and enjoyed driving his wife around the Coast showing her his works of art. He had a humorous personality and loved all.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 11:30 AM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 12304 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport, MS.

Partin married Jane Clayton circa 1949.4 Partin 17 was enrolled in school in 1949 in Lamar County.5 He served in the US Army between 1950 – 1955 when he was stationed in Italy during the Korean Conflict and served as a mechanic.6 Partin Slade was living in 2005 in Gulfport, Mississippi.2 Partin died on October 3, 2018 at age 88.6 He was buried in Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi, Harrison County, Mississippi.6
