     Pellie Windham went by Peggy. She was born on October 28, 1907 in Covington County, Mississippi.² She was the daughter of Thomas Windham.¹
     Pellie married Glenn Mason Slade, son of Nathaniel Evander Slade and Mary Francis Lott.¹ Pellie died on June 22, 1940 in Houston, Harris County, Texas, at age 32.¹ She was buried in Corinth Cemetery, Lamar County, Mississippi.¹

     Ella Louise Braswell was born on October 18, 1921 in North Carolina.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Gurney Braswell and Hattie Mae Duke.²
     Ella married Charles Marshall Slade, son of Walter Anderson Slade and Josephine Cobb Drake, on February 9, 1942 in Seaboard, Northampton County, North Carolina.^1,2 Ella died on September 3, 2000 in Rich Square, Northampton County, North Carolina, at age 78.¹ She was buried in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Rich Square, Northampton County, North Carolina.²

     Katherine Mitchell was born circa 1827 in Chard, Somerset, England.¹
     Katherine married William Slade, son of James Slade and Mary [?], 1847 Q4 in Somerset, England.¹

     Mary Slade was born circa 1855 in Haselbury Plucknett, Somerset, England.¹ She was the daughter of William Slade and Katherine Mitchell.¹

     William Slade was born circa 1859 in Haselbury Plucknett, Somerset, England.¹ He was the son of William Slade and Katherine Mitchell.¹

     Frederick J. Slade was born circa 1875 in North Perrott, Somerset, England.¹ He was the son of Arthur James Slade and Sarah Anne Gear.¹

     Lois Cleo Parks was born on March 10, 1896 in Ellis County, Texas.² He was the son of Benjamin Franklin Parks & Elizabeth Hutcheson Parks of Ennis, Texas.³
     Lois married Iola Corrine Slade, daughter of Andrew Jackson Slade and Sallie Ophelia Keel, on January 24, 1920 in First Baptist Church, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.¹ Lois Cleo Parks and Iola Corrine Slade were divorced. Lois died on July 1, 1971 at age 75.³ He was buried in Myrtle Cemetery, Ellis County, Texas.³

     Lawrence Carl Slade was born on February 2, 1902 in Orvisburg, Pearl River County, Mississippi.^1,2 He was the son of Rodolphus Slade and Minnie Melissa Bounds. Lawrence Carl Slade was known as Munch to family and friends.³
     Lawrence married Lorene Burril, daughter of Edwin Joseph Burril and Ida Ford.^4,1 Lawrence died on June 4, 1972 at age 70² and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport, Harrison County, Mississippi.²

     Lorene Burril was born on October 5, 1908 in Gulfport, Harrison County, Mississippi.^2,3 She was the daughter of Edwin Joseph Burril and Ida Ford.^1,4

     Edwin married Barbara Leah Biggs.³ Edwin died in January, 1987 at age 47² and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport, Harrison County, Mississippi.⁴

     Lillie Mae Nix was born on October 5, 1908 in Mississippi.^3,4
     Lillie married Luther Thomas Slade, son of Leonard Lafayette Slade and Sally Slade, on June 14, 1922 in Forrest County, Mississippi.⁵ Lillie died in December, 1984 in Gulfport, Harrison County, Mississippi, at age 76 [last address of record].⁴

     Preston Michael Slade was born on June 6, 1923 in Hattiesburg, Forrest County, Mississippi.^3,4 He was the son of Luther Thomas Slade and Lillie Mae Nix.¹
     Preston married Nellie Smith on December 22, 1941.⁵
     Preston married Anne [?] circa 1954.⁴ Preston Michael Slade was living on April 1, 2001 in Moss Point, Jackson County, Mississippi.² Preston died on July 31, 2007 in Moss Point, Mississippi, at age 84.³ He was buried in Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi, Harrison County, Mississippi.⁴ His obituary read as follows:

      Preston Slade, 84, of Moss Point, Miss., passed away Tuesday July 31, 2007, in Moss Point at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 6, 1923, in Hattiesburg, Miss. He was a Private First Class in the U.S. Army. He was self-employed for 40 years as an Underground Utility Contractor. He and his wife loved spending time in the outdoors together including hunting and fishing. Mr. Slade was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend.

Mr. Slade leaves loving memories to his beloved wife of 53 years, Anne Slade of Moss Point; his daughter, Susan (Ron) Massingill; his sons, Robert (MiMi) Slade of Moss Point and Michael Slade of Lumberton, Miss; his grandchildren, Amanda and Matt Massingill of Brandon, Miss., and Jessica and Derek Slade of Moss Point; his brother, Lindbergh Slade of Gulfport, Miss; his sister, Betty Lou Laird of Perkinston, Miss; his devoted sister- in-law and her husband, Martha and Donald Harvey of Jackson, Miss; and many other relatives and friends.

Mr. Slade is reunited with his father Luther T. Slade and his mother Lily M. Roberson.

There will be a private service held at Biloxi National Cemetery of Biloxi, Miss., with Chaplin Eric Richard officiating.

     Lavelle married Evelyn Hines.⁴ Lavelle died on January 24, 2007 in Biloxi, Harrison County, Mississippi, at age 93.^1,5 He was buried in Poplarville Cemetery, Pearl River County, Mississippi.⁵
