     Sarah married John Slade, son of Samuel Slade and Sarah J. [?], circa 1876.² In 1900, Sarah is shown to be mother of 7, with 5 living.² Sarah died on August 11, 1927 at age 70.³ She was buried in Grantham Cemetery, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.³

     Harvey Edward Slade was born on December 12, 1899 in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana. [see note below]^1,3 He was the son of John Slade and Sarah Ann [?].¹ Harvey Edward Slade was registered for the military draft in World War I on September 12, 1918 in Covington, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.³
     Harvey married Hattie Mae Dillard, daughter of Artis Dillard and Sarah Elizabeth Kahl.⁴ Harvey died in March, 1984 in Louisiana at age 84.⁵ He was buried in Grantham Cemetery, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.²

Note: Findagrave shows his birth as 1889, but this is apparently an error as census records clearly indicate 1898. No tombstone is shown on Findagrave.com.²

     Artimus S. Slade was born on August 29, 1889 in Talisheek, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.^2,3,4 He was the son of John Slade and Sarah Ann [?].¹
     Artimus married Georgia Bercegeay.⁵ The daughter of Mary Ellen Parker & Henry A Bercegeay.
     Artimus married Beulah Davenport.⁶ Artimus died on January 30, 1954 at age 64.³ He was buried in Grantham Cemetery, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.³

     Amelia Slade was born in October, 1879 in Louisiana.¹ She was the daughter of John Slade and Sarah Ann [?].¹
     Amelia married Willie M. Parker.^2,3 Amelia died on October 13, 1953.³ She was buried in Holmes Cemetery, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.³

     Beulah married Artimus S. Slade, son of John Slade and Sarah Ann [?].¹ Beulah died on August 20, 1978 at age 73² and was buried in Grantham Cemetery, Lamar County, Mississippi.²

     Densil Virgil Slade was born on June 28, 1927 in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.^1,2 He was the son of Artimus S. Slade and Beulah Davenport.¹ Densil died on September 26, 1982 at age 55² and was buried in Grantham Cemetery, Lamar County, Mississippi.²

     Guy Lavelle Slade was born on April 25, 1926 in Mississippi.^2,3 He was the son of Charlie Guy Slade and Martha Estella DuBose.¹ Guy died on August 29, 1995 at age 69³ and was buried in Pineview Baptist Church Cemetery, Forrest County, Mississippi, Guy L. Slade also has a stone at Tyner Cemetery, Lamar County, however, his 2nd wife buried him here.⁴

     Burwell David DuBose was born circa 1863 in Mississippi.¹

     Lawrence Carl Slade Jr. went by Sonny. He was born circa 1931 in Gulfport, Harrison County, Mississippi.¹ He was the son of Lawrence Carl Slade and Lorene Burril.¹
     Lawrence married Ruth Meisner.² Daughter of Adolph and Nan Meisner.³ He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in the Korean War. He was a shipyard worker for 25 years.² Lawrence died on June 19, 2014.² His obituary read as follows:

      Lawrence Carl Slade, Jr, age 83, of Gulfport died Thursday, June 19, 2014 in Gulfport.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in the Korean War. He was a shipyard worker for 25 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a devoted father to his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Carl Slade, Sr. and Lorene Slade; two brothers, James E. Slade and Edwin H. Slade.
Mr. Slade is survived by wife, Ruth Meisner Slade of Gulfport; his sons, Lawrence C. Slade, III of Gulfport; Gregory S. Slade and his wife, Cindy of Woolmarket, Jeffrey W. Slade and George M. Slade, both of Gulfport; a grandson, Gregory S. Slade, Jr.: two granddaughters, Lawren R. Chucta and Stacie L. Slade; and a great-grandson, Dylan Slade.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. with the memorial service to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport.²

     James Earl Slade was born circa 1934 in Gulfport, Harrison County, Mississippi.¹ He was the son of Lawrence Carl Slade and Lorene Burril.¹
     James married JoAnn Miller.² James died on April 8, 2007.² His obituary read as follows:

      James Earl Slade, Sr., 73, beloved husband and father, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2007, at his Gulfport home after a lengthy illness.
     

He was preceded in death by his parents, L.C. and Lorene Slade, and a brother, Edwin Slade.
     

He was retired from NCBC, Gulfport, after 37 years civil service and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Korea.
     

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jo Ann, and his five children, Theresa Upchurch and husband Ronnie, Ginger Slade Rewis, Eddie Slade and wife Melissa, all of Gulfport, Jim Slade and wife Belinda of St. Martin, and David Slade and wife Yoko of Osaka, Japan. He is also survived by his brother, L.C. "Sonny" Slade of Gulfport; his favorite aunt, Lillian Lee, of Gulfport, and his grandchildren, Karen Rewis Wisnewski, Elizabeth Rewis Teeple, Adam Rewis, Lauren Upchurch, Dustin Slade, Emily Slade, Alyssa Slade, Guy Slade, Brandi Trosclair, and Bryan Trosclair, and one great-grandchild, Addison Wisnewski.³
      His obituary read as follows:
