     Stacy Lynn Slade was born on June 19, 1958 in Purvis, Lamar County, Mississippi.1 He was the son of Lavelle Slade and Hilda M. Anderson.1 Stacy died on October 8, 2010 in Bay St. Louis, Hancock County, Mississippi, at age 52.1 His obituary read as follows:

      Stacey Lynn Slade of Bay St. Louis was born on June 19, 1958 to the late Lavelle and the late Hilda Anderson Slade in Purvis, MS. He took his rest on Friday, October 8, 2010 in Bay St. Louis at the age of 53. Stacey is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Linda Vines. He is survived by two sisters: Janice Cade of Brooksville, and Carolyn Breazeale of Purvis; brother: Stanley Slade of Purvis; his life's companion: Larry Smith of Bay St. Louis, MS; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. There will be a private ceremony celebrating his life. Special thanks to Dr. Brian Anthony, his staff and the staff of Hancock Medical Center.1 He was buried in Coal Town Cemetery, Purvis, Lamar County, Mississippi.2

     Mary Alice Slade was born on July 7, 1924 in Berrien County, Georgia.1 She was the daughter of Edward Price Slade Jr. and Mattie Thelma Fletcher.1
     Mary married Charles Herbert Sirman on March 18, 1941 in Broward County, Florida.2 They had three daughters and two sons.1 Mary died on August 22, 2011 in Wake County, North Carolina, at age 87.1 She was buried in Highland Memorial Gardens, Watervbille, Lucas County, Ohio.1 Her obituary read as follows:

      Mary Alice Slade Sirman, 87, died Monday, August 22, 2011. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home Chapel, 401 N Ennis Street, Fuquay-Varina. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm, an hour prior to the service. Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Highland Memorial Gardens, Waterville, Ohio.
     
Mrs. Sirman was born in Nashville, GA on July 7, 1924 to the late Thelma Fletcher Slade and Edward Price Slade. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Herbert Sirman.
     
Mrs. Sirman is survived by three daughters, Charlotte Sirman Cover of Tucson, AZ, Linda Sirman Arnott of Toledo, OH, and Patricia Sirman Levering and husband, Peter of Fuquay-Varina, NC; two sons, Charles Edward Sirman of Old Town, FL and John Sirman and wife, Tracy of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters, Betty Slade Phillips of Melbourne, FL and Thelma Slade Privette of Wake Forest, NC; 7 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

      Family and friends together mourn the death of Mr. David Lee Slade of Tioga. Funeral services for Mr. Slade were Wednesday, August 31, 2011 in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, Reverends Charles Hutzler and Dick Debusk officiated. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Ball.

Mr. Slade, age 54, of Tioga was born November 6, 1956 in Hammond, Louisiana to Winton Lee and Dorothy Slade, entered eternal rest on August 26, 2011 at his residence. He graduated from Pineville High School in 1975 and Northeast University in 1979 with a bachelor's degree in business administration.

David was an accomplished businessman, generous community servant, loving husband, father, grandfather and devoted son.

David successfully owned and managed a muffler shop and Rent-A-Car business in Tioga. He was an accomplished broker, administering over various estates and successfully owned and managed an automotive dealership. David also worked as a QMRP at Pinecrest Developmental Center for many years and was a Notary Public.

David was a faithful member of Alpine Baptist Church in Tioga and served on the Louisiana Special Education Human Rights Board for many years.

Among his various hobbies, David enjoyed fishing, tennis, swimming, chess, duck hunting, collecting antiques and automobiles, and touring historic plantation homes.

David was preceded in death by his father and infant son, David. He is survived by his wife, his mother, and his son. David is also survived by his step-children and his grandchildren as well as many aunts, uncles, and close family and friends who will miss his presence dearly.

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Louisiana Special Education Center Auxillary Fund or Alpine First Baptist Church Building Fund.

Services were under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.1
