Her only sister, Ethel (Slade) Streit of Cincinnati, OH and her only brother, Willard C. Slade of Dry Ridge, KY preceded her in death. Della leaves behind Herbert Snell, her devoted husband of 56 years, two daughters, Sandy Snell of Alexandria, KY, Tina (Bill) Hurd of Lexington, KY, one granddaughter, Haley Hurd, and long-time extended family members, Noel and Priscilla Roberts of Alexandria, KY. In addition, one brother-in-law, Harold Snell of Cincinnati, OH, two sisters-in-law, Theckla (Charles) Snell of Taunton, MA and Joyce (Willard) Slade of Dry Ridge, KY; one niece, Jackie Shaeffer, also of Dry Ridge, KY, and many friends at the Rosedale Green Nursing Facility. Della and Herbert have resided at Rosedale for the past 3 years. Herbert and Della met 58 years ago at the former Booth Hospital in Covington, KY where they were both employees.
