     John Erwin Slade was born on March 18, 1888 in Columbia, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.^1,2,3 He was the son of James Duffy Slade and Minnie Moorell Erwin.¹ John Erwin Slade was known as J. Erwin.¹ John E. Slade, hotel guest at 80 1/2 Bowery St, age 22, b PA, MD, PA, peddler of novelties.⁴
     John married Anna E. Lebeau in 1918.⁵ John Erwin Slade registered for WWI draft on June 5, 1918 at Kings County, New York.² Age 31, worked for Cooper Steamship.⁵ John died on June 2, 1949 at age 61.⁶

     John Erwin Slade Jr. was born on November 27, 1919 in Brooklyn, New York County, New York.² He was the son of John Erwin Slade and Anna E. Lebeau.¹ On on October 15, 1940 John Erwin Slade Jr. was a Sergeant in the Infantry, New York National Guard.³
     John married Imogene Brand.⁴ The daughter of Venie Eloise Arnold & Whit Brand. John died in May, 1982 in Columbia, Richland County, South Carolina, at age 62.^1,5 He was buried in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens, Columbia, Richland County, South Carolina.⁶

     Rita Wheildon was born on January 2, 1915 in Yarram, Wellington Shire, Victoria, Australia.¹ The daughter of Herbert Wheildon and Edith Mary Tulan.¹
     Rita married Alac W. Slade, son of Sydney Guthrie Slade and Florence Mitchell, in 1943 in Victoria, Australia.¹ Rita died on July 29, 2008 at age 93.¹ She was buried in Beechworth Cemetery, Beechworth, Indigo Shire, Victoria, Australia.¹

     William Crosley Slade was born on April 18, 1817 in Lavina, Brown County, Ohio.^1,2 He was the son of John Slade and Elizabeth Crosley.³
     William married Elizabeth Temple Dunn, daughter of James Monroe Dunn and Sarah Gruwell, on April 11, 1836 in Clermont County, Ohio.¹ [John Pearce research shows January 24, 1836 for their marriage date].⁴ William died on September 25, 1876 at age 59.¹ He was buried in Nichols Cemetery, Muscatine, Muscatine County, Iowa.¹ Age 58y 5m 7d; Civil War Veteran GAR marker Grand Army of the Republic. He is the only Slade buried in this cemetery.¹

Sloan.² Emma died on December 1, 1940 at age 90.² Emma died on December 1, 1940 in Reynolds, Rock Island County, Illinois, at age 90.³ She was buried in Hamlet Cemetery, Hamlet, Mercer County, Illinois.²

     Charles W. Slade was born on August 22, 1857 in Clermont County, Ohio.^2,3 He was the son of William Crosley Slade and Elizabeth Temple Dunn.¹
     Charles married Mary C Smith on July 12, 1894 in Aledo, Mercer County, Illinois.² He was a widower, living with two sisters, Lizzie and Mollie.⁴ Charles died on July 31, 1935 in Aledo, Illinois, at age 77.²

     Elizabeth P Slade was known as Lizzie and sometimes Elisa.² She was born on April 24, 1844 in Concord, Clermont County, Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of William Crosley Slade and Elizabeth Temple Dunn.² Elizabeth P Slade was New Tag in 1845 in Ohio.³ She was New Tag in April, 1846 in Ohio.²
     Elizabeth married Sanford W Kellum on June 6, 1868 in Bantam, Clermont County, Ohio.^4,2 Elizabeth died on December 5, 1925 in Clermont County, Ohio, at age 81¹ and was buried in Flagg Spring Cemetery, Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.¹

     Sanford W Kellum was born on March 21, 1837 in Bantam, Clermont County, Ohio.¹ He was the son of James and Ann Kellum of Clermont County, Ohio.²
