Tadd Slade Alford1

     Tadd Slade Alford was born on April 2, 1965 in Monroe, Ouachita Parish, Louisiana.1,2 He was the son of Lathe Alford and Charlotte Rogers.1 Tadd died on November 17, 2011 at age 462 and was buried in Conway Cemetery, Conway, Union Parish, Louisiana.2 His obituary read as follows:

Funeral services for Tadd Alford, 46, of Truxno will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Farrar Funeral Home with Bro. Kurt Auger officiating. Burial will be in Conway Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.

Tadd, a roofer, died Thursday, November 17, 2011. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Lathe Alford of Truxno, LA and Charlotte Alford of Hurst, TX; wife, Amy Alford of Truxno; 1 daughter, Amber Nicole Alford of West Monroe; 2 brothers: Todd Alford of Euless, TX and Brian Alford of Hurst, TX; special cousin “like a brother”, Shane Alford of Truxno; special cousin “like a sister”, Trina Wagley of West Monroe and special aunt “like a mother”, Sherry Woodall of West Monroe.

Pallbearers are Shane Alford, Ricky Byrnside, Johnny Byrnside, Doug Wheat, Bob Slayton and Paul Methvin. Honorary pallbearers are Trina Wagley, Ranny Traylor and Mitch Holloway.2

     Ruth Elizabeth Fink was born on February 8, 1898 in Edmond, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma Territory. She was the daughter of Gottlob Heinrich Fink and Bennettie Nave.
     Ruth married Yeulin VanSickles Willett, son of George Andrew Willett and Mary Lee (Mollie) Burks, on June 6, 1920 in Edmond, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.1,2 Ruth died on August 13, 1950 in Perry, Noble County, Oklahoma, at age 52.3 She was buried in Grace Hill Cemetery, Perry, Noble County, Oklahoma.

     Yeulin VanSickles Willett was born on June 21, 1896 in Perry, Noble County, Oklahoma Territory.1 He was the son of George Andrew Willett and Mary Lee (Mollie) Burks. Yeulin VanSickles Willett served in Commissioned 2nd Lt. Infantry at Camp Pike, Ark. 25 Aug. 1918. He enlisted at Enid, Oklahoma when he was 23 years, had brown hair, brown eyes, dark complexion, 5 ft. 10 inches in height. It says he was born in Perry, Oklahoma and was a bookeeper - cashier. Disharged 26 Aug. 1918 on February 22, 1918 in Enid, Garfield County, Oklahoma.2
     Yeulin married Ruth Elizabeth Fink, daughter of Gottlob Heinrich Fink and Bennettie Nave, on June 6, 1920 in Edmond, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.3,4 Yeulin VanSickles Willett was a Banker. He began working at the bank in Douglas, Oklahoma, then was President of the bank at Goltry. In 1933, he was named President of the Exchange Bank of Perry, Oklahoma, a position he held until his death. in 1933 in Perry, Noble County, Oklahoma.5 Yeulin died on February 18, 1941 in Wichita, Segwick County, Kansas, at age 44 No will.1,6 He was buried in Grace Hill Cemetery, Perry, Noble County, Oklahoma.7,8
