     John Andrew Slade was born in September, 1879 in Ohio.¹ He was the son of John W. Slade and Margaret A. Barnhart.¹ John Andrew Slade was registered for the draft on September 12, 1918 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio, living at 123 Hawthorn St, wife Edith.² He married Edith about 1915, who died prior to 1930. Apparently, they had no children. John died on March 27, 1957 at age 77³ and was buried in Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio.³

     George Fletcher Slade was born on April 10, 1886 in Springboro, Warren County, Ohio.^3,1 He was the son of John W. Slade and Margaret A. Barnhart.¹
     George married Amanda Evaline Finkbone circa 1913.⁴ George Fletcher Slade was a Sheet Steel Inspector in 1940.⁴ George died on May 15, 1977 at age 91² and was buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Poast Town, Butler County, Ohio.²

     Amanda Evaline Finkbone was born circa 1879 in Ohio¹, the daughter of Mary Elizabeth Long & John W Finkbone.²
     Amanda married George Fletcher Slade, son of John W. Slade and Margaret A. Barnhart, circa 1913.¹ Amanda died on February 6, 1966² and was buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Poast Town, Butler County, Ohio.²

     Ruth Evaline Slade was born on January 9, 1914 in Butler County, Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of George Fletcher Slade and Amanda Evaline Finkbone.¹ Ruth died on March 8, 2019 in Lebanon, Warren County, Ohio, at age 105² and was buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Poast Town, Butler County, Ohio.²

     John F. Slade was born on March 29, 1916 in Butler County, Ohio.^1,2 He was the son of George Fletcher Slade and Amanda Evaline Finkbone.¹ John died on November 8, 1997 at age 81² and was buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Poast Town, Butler County, Ohio.²

     George Richard Slade was known as Richard.² He was born circa 1920 in Butler County, Ohio.² He was the son of George Fletcher Slade and Amanda Evaline Finkbone.²
     George married Audrey P. Schubert.³ George died on July 23, 1994.¹

     Audrey P. Schubert was born on August 27, 1921.¹
     Audrey married George Richard Slade, son of George Fletcher Slade and Amanda Evaline Finkbone.¹ Audrey died on September 24, 2012 in Sarasota County, Florida, at age 91.¹

     Richard Schubert Slade was born in January, 1949 in Middletown, Butler County, Ohio.² He was the son of George Richard Slade and Audrey P. Schubert.^2,1
     Richard married first Susan Patricia [?].³ Richard Schubert Slade resided in Wales in September, 2012.¹
     Richard married second Kim O'Driscoll in Reynoldston, Swansea, Wales.² Richard died on February 9, 2020 in Longboat Key, Sarasota County, Florida, at age 71.² His obituary read as follows:

      SLADE, Richard Schubert Was born January 1949 in Middletown, Ohio, to

George Richard and Audrey Slade.

He died 9 February 2020 on Longboat Key. He is survived by his
wife, Kim O'Driscoll of Reynoldston, Wale and his
sons, Andy (Lynn), Scott (Beth), Nick (Lauri), and Bryan,

and his grandchildren, Tess, Lola and Asher, Emma, Sara, and Scotty, and Shea and Kameron in the US and Lucas, Maya, and Herbie in Canada and the UK. Grandpa Dick--as the grandchildren called him--was known to laugh loud and be loads of fun. He taught all of us to work with our hands, to dig and to build, to lay tile or floor. He taught all of the boys to fish and to love the beach and to tell fish stories. He was a longtime resident of Middletown, Ohio, moved to Spokane, Washington in the late 80s and then to Florida and the UK in the 2000's. He acquired many friends around the world and was known for a good story, a loud joke, and a willingness to adventure. He always knew where he bought a bushel of oysters that one time, and probably still has the receipt, even though it was 20 years ago. He was a fast driver--known to have speeding tickets, twice in a day, on the way to and from fishing. He will be greatly missed.

     Gertrude married Clayton Jerome Slade, son of Charles Henry Slade and Jessie Mable Fiege, circa 1927.¹ Gertrude died on June 12, 1986.³ She was buried in Southview Cemetery, North Adams, Berkshire County, Massachusetts.^3,4

     Robert C. Slade was born circa 1928 in Stamford, Bennington County, Vermont.¹ He was the son of Clayton Jerome Slade and Gertrude F. Stein.¹ Robert died in 1961.²

     William Slade was born circa 1847 in Newfoundland.¹
     William married Minnie [?].¹
