Predeceased by husband: Theodore 1995; parents: Augustus and Laura J. Clarke; brothers: Augustus, Austin, Amos, Lionel and Sandy; sisters: Annie, Lillian and Myrtle. Leaving to mourn: six daughters, five sons, eighteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, five brothers: Pleaman (Violet), Nathaniel (Bertha Mae), and Stanley, all of Victoria, Donald (Gladys) and Bert (Olga), both of St. John's; two sister: Gladys (Tom) Deering, Carbonear and Muriel (Donald) Jackson, Victoria; special nieces of the late Theodore Sellars: Rowena Pynn and Daphne Garland; and also a large number of brothers/sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. David Paul Slade, 17, of Montrose, AR died Saturday, February 04, 2012. Visitation was held 5-8pm Monday, February 6, 2012 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR. Services were held at 2pm Tuesday at Liberty Baptist Church in McGehee, AR with Rev. Steve Fleming and Rev. Jody Gannaway officiating. Burial was held at Tillar Cemetery.
Paul was born in Lake Village, AR May 6, 1994. He attended Hamburg High School and worked at Atwoods Farm and Ranch Store in Crossett, AR. Paul wanted to join the National Guard and become at Military Policeman. He was a member of the Delta Task Force in Montrose, Portland and Wilmot. Paul loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and swimming. Paul loved his family and he was a peacemaker.
Survivors include his parents, Charles and Saundra Watson of Montrose and David Slade of Kansas City, Kansas. Sister, Jennifer Gayle Slade of Kansas City, Kansas. Brothers, Brandon Watson of Eudora, AR and C.W. Watson, Jr. of Watson, AR. Grandmothers, Lee Wanda Whitaker of McGehee, AR, Betty Jo Watson of Eudora, AR and Joanna Hanson of Hot Springs, AR. Nephew, Kaden Greening of Kansas City, Kansas. Nieces, Macie Watson and Laiden Watson. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
