     Chloe married first William S. Creed, son of James Creed and Almira Gordon, on October 27, 1880 in Lotts Creek, Kossuth County, Iowa.4 Apparently Chloe & William separated before 1900 and he died sometime afterward as he does not show up in the census and Chloe is living elsewhere. She is listed as a widow in 1905.5
     Chloe married second John Simpson Pool, son of William Poole and Sarah Emaline McGunnigal.6 Chloe died on October 25, 1931 at age 71.3 She was buried in Riverview Cemetery, Algona, Kossuth County, Iowa.3
