     Luman married Aurora Pomeroy Booth on September 15, 1844.5 After the death of his wife Roxa in 1892, Luman went to live with his daughter Ella in Herington, Kansas.3 About 1907, he went to live with his son, Sherman in Hartford Co, Connecticut.3 Luman died on January 1, 1910 in Hartford County, Connecticut, at age 885 and was buried in Westfield East Cemetery, Marquette County, Wisconsin.6

Sylvester Ford1

(8 November 1770 - 20 January 1846)
     Sylvester Ford was born on November 8, 1770 in Austerlitz, Columbia County, New York.2 Sylvester was the second son of Colonel Jacob Ford and Abigail (Curtis) Ford, and one of ten children. He moved to Albany County in 1791, settling in Westerlo, on a farm bought by his father. The place was called "Ford's Corners," a name which it still retains.1,3
     Sylvester married Lydia Olmstead Reed, daughter of Eliakim Reed and Rebecca Fitch, on November 17, 1791.3
     Sylvester Ford was one of the substantial men of his time, being a Member of Assembly in 1815, and Supervisor from the town of Westerlo in 1820. He assisted in establishing the Masonic Lodge at Chesterville and was one of its charter members. He was a member and trustee of the Baptist Society of Westerlo.
     In 1837, with his wife, he removed to Oneonta and purchased the property at the corner of Main and Fairview Streets, whicfh was thereafter their home.3 Sylvester died on January 20, 1846 in Otsego County, New York, at age 75.3 He was buried in Riverside Cemetery, Oneonta, Otsego County, New York.2
"Died in Oneonta, Otsego Co., Jan 8, 1846, Mrs. Lydia Ford, wife of Sylvester Ford, in the 73rd year of her age. In Oneonta Jan 20, 1846, Mr Sylvester Ford in the 76th year of his age. Thus have we been within the short space of 12 days, called to commit to the tomb the remains of two of our most worthy and respectable citizens. They were married Nov 17, 1791.      Jesse married Flora Ann Lane, daughter of Ario Lane and Mary Edna Winters, on September 1, 1956.2 Jesse died on December 9, 2012 in Chandler, Maricopa County, Arizona, at age 79.1,3 He was buried in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon.2,4,5 His obituary read as follows:

      Jesse E. Slade, 79, a former resident of Deltona, died Dec. 9, 2012. A funeral with military honors was held Dec. 21 at Unitarian Universalist Church in Salem, Ore. He will be privately interred at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Ore.

Mr. Slade worked for Siemens.
