     Robert married Minnie F. Slade, daughter of James Alanson Slade and Elizabeth Sophia Harrison, on January 23, 1889 in Norfolk, Norfolk County, Virginia.1,4 Robert died on July 23, 1923 at age 57.5 He was buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk City, Virginia.5
