     Catherine Vincent was New Tag circa 1800 in Ireland.³ She was born in 1801 in Charlton Musgrove, Somerset, England.⁴
     Catherine married George Slade, son of Jesse Slade, on August 6, 1824 in Bath, Somerset, England, Sparkford Parish.⁵ Somerset marriage records show a Christian Vincent married George Slade, Aug 6, 1824, Sparford, Yeovil. Could this be Catherine Vincent? Catherine is head of househould in 1851 census, children; Elizabeth, James, Stephen and Edward are with her, son George and wife are living next door.⁴ Catherine died in 1866 (according to the bio of James Slade, his mother lived to attain her 65th year.)⁶

     James H. Slade was baptized on February 3, 1833 in Bath, Somerset, England; Weston All Saints.² He was the son of George Slade and Catherine Vincent.³ James H. Slade was New Tag in February, 1835 in England.^3,4 He was New Tag on December 22, 1836 in Bath, Somerset.⁵ James immigrated from England to New York in 1855.⁵ After clerking for 3 years in New York City, he removed to Lynchburg, Virginia, but in 1860, returned to join Yonkers Gas Company and become a permanent resident of Yonkers.⁵
     James married Mary Nolan circa 1864 in Westchester County, New York.⁵ James H. Slade was naturalized on October 6, 1868 in Superior Court, New York County, New York.⁶ James died on June 18, 1901 at age 68⁷ and was buried in Oakland Cemetery, Yonkers, Westchester County, New York.⁷

     Edward Uriah Slade was born on January 23, 1842 in Weston, Somerset, England.^2,3 He was the son of George Slade and Catherine Vincent.^4,2
     Edward married Clara Gale, daughter of Eunice [?].⁵ Edward Uriah Slade was naturalized on October 6, 1868 in Yonkers, Westchester County, New York.⁶ He was working for the gas company.⁷ Edward died on August 2, 1893 in Hackensack, Bergen County, New Jersey, at age 51.⁸

     Eliza Slade was born in 1830 in Somerset, England.¹ She was the daughter of George Slade and Catherine Vincent.¹ Eliza Slade was baptized on March 28, 1830 in Bath, Somerset, England; at Weston All Saints.²

     Elizabeth Slade was born circa 1856 in Somerset, England.¹ She was the daughter of George Slade Jr. and Sarah [?].¹ Elizabeth died on June 15, 1921² and was buried in Oakland Cemetery, Yonkers, Westchester County, New York.²

     James William Slade was born on February 17, 1876 in Amherst County, Virginia.^1,2 He was the son of George Slade Jr. and Hannah Brooks.¹
     James married Grace D. Odell, daughter of Prentice Odell and Ida Elizabeth Decker, circa 1901.^3,4 James William Slade was registered for the military draft in World War I on September 12, 1918 in New York, New York, He was an electrical engineer, 1565 Park Aveue, NY, NY, res, 68 West 107th, NY.² He was listed as the owner of an elevator repair business in 1930.⁵ James died in 1962⁴ and was buried in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, Bergen County, New Jersey.⁴

     Mary Nolan was New Tag in 1837 in England.¹ She was born in January, 1838 in Ireland.³
     Mary married James H. Slade, son of George Slade and Catherine Vincent, circa 1864 in Westchester County, New York.² Mary died on December 17, 1906 at age 68 and was buried in Oakland Cemetery, Yonkers, Westchester County, New York.⁴

     Richmond Edward Slade was born on June 20, 1865 in Westchester County, New York.^3,2 He was the son of James H. Slade and Mary Nolan.¹
     Richmond married Jane Wiggins circa 1890.⁴ Richmond Edward Slade was living at 74 Genesee in 1902 in Lockport, Niagra County, New York.⁵ He was Treas & General Manager, Hartford City Gas Light Co, living at 59 Girard in 1909 in Hartford, Connecticut.⁶ He was manager of Gas and Electric Company in 1910 in New Orleans, Louisiana.⁴ Richmond died on December 8, 1926 at age 61.² He was buried in Oakland Cemetery, Yonkers, Westchester County, New York.²

     Clifford Leon Slade was born on May 12, 1872 in Westchester County, New York.^1,2 He was the son of James H. Slade and Mary Nolan.¹ Clifford died on May 18, 1898 at age 26³ and was buried in Oakland Cemetery, Yonkers, Westchester County, New York.³

     Foster Cornell Slade was born in April, 1874 in Westchester County, New York.^2,3 He was the son of James H. Slade and Mary Nolan.² Foster graduated from Cornell University, Mechanical Engineering, Class of 1897.⁴
     Foster married first Elizabeth McBride Crane, daughter of Theodore Crane, circa 1899.³ Foster Cornell Slade was a gas engineer in 1900.³ Katherine's father, Theodore Crane was living with them in 1900.³ He was manager of an electric company in Willimantic, Connecticut in 1910.⁵ Foster died in 1914^6,1 and was buried in Oakland Cemetery, Yonkers, Westchester County, New York.¹

     Harvey Shattuck Slade was born on July 24, 1877 in Westchester County, New York.¹ He was the son of James H. Slade and Mary Nolan.¹ He graduated from Columbia University in 1899.² Harvey died on August 16, 1902 at age 25 from tuberculosis³ and was buried in Oakland Cemetery, Yonkers, Westchester County, New York.³

     Jane Wiggins was born on January 22, 1868 in New York.^1,2
     Jane married Richmond Edward Slade, son of James H. Slade and Mary Nolan, circa 1890.² Jane died on March 7, 1941 in Manhattan, New York, at age 73.³ She was buried in Oakland Cemetery, Yonkers, Westchester County, New York.²

     James Hiram Slade was born on November 7, 1890 in New York.^1,2 He was the son of Richmond Edward Slade and Jane Wiggins.¹ James Hiram Slade was assistant manager of Gas and Electric Company in 1910 in New Orleans, Louisiana.¹ James died on April 25, 1918 at age 27² and was buried in Oakland Cemetery, Yonkers, Westchester County, New York.²

     Elizabeth McBride Crane was New Tag her parents were both born in New Jersey circa 1869 in New Jersey.³ She was born in February, 1874 in New York.⁴ She was the daughter of Theodore Crane.⁴
