     Frederick Slade was born on June 5, 1843 in Albany County, New York.^1,2 He was the son of Erastus Slade and Elvira Powell.¹ Frederick Slade was a retired grocer.³ Frederick died on March 12, 1922 at age 78.³ He was buried in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert County, Ohio.³

     Kingsley P. Slade was born circa 1837 in Albany County, New York.¹ He was the son of Erastus Slade and Elvira Powell.¹ Luman and Kingsley P. Slade registered in June, 1863 to do military duty in the Fifth Congressional District at Van Wert Co, Ohio.² He served as a Private in Co. K, 88th Ohio Volunteer Infantry.³
     Kingsley married Margaret "Maggie" Hackett on November 7, 1887 in Bates County, Missouri.⁴ Kingsley died on August 16, 1912.⁵ He was buried in Richland Cemetery, Trading Post, Linn County, Kansas.⁶

     Daniel G. Slade was born circa 1833 in Allegany County, New York.¹ He was the son of Ephraim Slade and Phebe B. [?]¹ Daniel G. Slade enlisted on June 10, 1861 in Co F, Michigan 3rd Infantry Regiment and was mustered out on Nov 20, 1861.^2,3 He was registered for the Civil War in June, 1863 in Leighton, Allegan County, Michigan.⁴
     Daniel married Cynthia Gleason, daughter of Ephraim Gleason and Jerusha Benjamin, on July 7, 1863 in Allegan County, Michigan.^5,6 Daniel died in 1869.⁷ He was buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Wayland, Allegan County, Michigan.⁷

     George Slade was born on February 12, 1874 in Wick, Somerset, England.^2,3 He was the son of Edward Slade and Amelia Porter. George Slade was christened on March 5, 1876 in South Brent, Somerset, England.⁴
     George married Alice [?].¹ George immigrated from Liverpool, England to Port of New York, New York, on January 12, 1911 intended destination, Marietta, Ohio.⁵ He was registered for the military draft in World War I on September 12, 1918 in Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York.² George died in October, 1973 at age 99⁶ and was buried in Amber Cemetery, Amber, Onondaga County, New York.⁶
