     Francis Davis Slade was born on August 27, 1808 in Hanover, Grafton County, New Hampshire.2 He was the son of Isaac Davis Slade and Mary L. "Polly" Topliff.1
     Francis married Sarah E. Hayes on June 9, 1840.2 Francis died on February 18, 1888 at age 792 and was buried in Hanover Centre Cemetery, Grafton County, New Hampshire.2

Harry Slade1

(20 May 1787 - 26 May 1854)
     Harry Slade was born on May 20, 1787 in Hanover, Grafton County, New Hampshire.1 He was the son of Samuel Slade and Sarah Durkee.1 Harry graduated from Dartmouth College in the class of 1812, studied Law, and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court in 1820. About 1822 he removed to Buffalo, New York, where he was a Justice of the Peace from 1828 to 1844, when he was elected to the State Assembly.1
     Harry married Eunice Amelia Maxwell on November 11, 1830 in Lebanon, Connecticut.2 Harry Slade was known as Henry.3 [recorded as Henry & Amelia Slade].3 Harry died on May 26, 1854 in Buffalo, New York, at age 67.1

     Samuel married Aurora Tenny on January 5, 1808.1,2 She was the daughter of Major Silas Tenney, a Revolutionary War soldier, and his wife Temperance Woodward.3 Samuel died on May 7, 1852 at age 714 and was buried in Alden Evergreen Cemetery, Alden, Erie County, New York.4
