     Frank W. Slade was born on April 29, 1866 in Fitchburg, Worcester County, Massachusetts.² He was the son of Ephraim Kingsbury Slade and Hepsybeth A. Hadley.¹ Frank died on April 25, 1889 in Roxbury, Litchfield County, Massachusetts, at age 22.²

     Lyman married Roxy Permelia Kibbe.⁴ Lyman moved to Genesee in 1856 and had charge of Mr. Langworthy's sawmill for several years. In 1864, he enlisted in the 85th NY and served until he was discharged in 1865.⁵ Lyman Oscar Slade began military service on September 2, 1864 in Genesee, Allegany County, New York, as a Private, Co D, 85th New York Volunteers, discharged June 27, 1865.^1,2 He enlisted on September 2, 1864 in Allegany County, New York, as a Private, Co D, 85th New York Volunteers, discharged June 27, 1865.⁶ Lyman died on January 12, 1909 in New York at age 87.⁷ He was buried in Wells Cemetery, Little Genesee, Allegany County, New York.⁸

     Jasper N. Slade was born on July 11, 1849 in Sharon, Potter County, Pennsylvania.^1,2,3 He was the son of Lyman Oscar Slade and Roxy Permelia Kibbe.¹ He went with his father to Genesee in 1856 and was a farmer and lumberman. In 1885, in company with his brother, Marcus E. Slade, he bought a sawmill of W. M. & T. B. Love.³
     Jasper married Ida A. Nichols circa 1874.^4,2 Jasper died in 1938.⁵ He was buried in Wells Cemetery, Little Genesee, Allegany County, New York.⁵

     Marcus Edwin Slade was born on March 25, 1857 in Allegany County, New York.² He was the son of Lyman Oscar Slade and Roxy Permelia Kibbe.³
     Marcus married Ida Adele Tanner, daughter of George Barney Tanner and Harriett Wells Clark, in 1880.^1,4 In 1885, in company with his brother, Jasper N. Slade, he bought a sawmill of W. M. & T. B. Love.² Marcus died in 1934⁵ and was buried in Wells Cemetery, Little Genesee, Allegany County, New York.⁵

     Herman Butler Slade was born in November, 1866 in Allegany County, New York.³ He was the son of Lyman Oscar Slade and Roxy Permelia Kibbe.

     Ida A. Nichols was born in July, 1849 in Pennsylvania her parents were both born in New York.² She was New Tag her parents were both born in New York circa 1853 in Pennsylvania.³
     Ida married Jasper N. Slade, son of Lyman Oscar Slade and Roxy Permelia Kibbe, circa 1874.^3,2 Dora is mother of two children, only one living.² Ida died in 1940.⁴ She was buried in Wells Cemetery, Little Genesee, Allegany County, New York.⁴

     Harriet A. Slade went by Hattie. She was born on April 6, 1875 in Pennsylvania.^2,1 She was the daughter of Jasper N. Slade and Ida A. Nichols.¹
     Harriet married Forrest A. Allen.² Harriet died on June 26, 1952 at age 77.² She was buried in Wells Cemetery, Little Genesee, Allegany County, New York.²
