     Raymond married Evelyn L. [?]¹ Raymond died on August 17, 1982 at age 48¹ and was buried in North Union Cemetery, Tippecanoe County, Indiana.^1,2

     Larry Ferrel Slade was born circa 1938 in Frankfort, Clinton County, Indiana.¹ He was the son of Raymond Thomas Slade and Aletha Irene Arnold.² Larry died on June 7, 1958 in Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana,³ and was buried in Kilmore United Methodist Church Cemetery, Frankfort, Clinton County, Indiana.³

     Louis E. Slade was born on June 18, 1936 in Frankfort, Clinton County, Indiana.^2,1 He was the son of Raymond Thomas Slade and Aletha Irene Arnold.³
     Louis married Dorothy Croy.⁴ Louis died on February 15, 1990 in Frankfort, Indiana, at age 53 [last record residence].¹ He was buried in Kilmore United Methodist Church Cemetery, Frankfort, Clinton County, Indiana.⁴ He Findagrave.com shows same birth date for Louis as SSDI, however, FG gives death date of Dec 31, 1989 in Lafayette, Tippecanie Co, Indiana for death date/place.⁴

     Melvin Lynn Slade was born in 1939 in Frankfort, Clinton County, Indiana.² He was the son of Raymond Thomas Slade and Aletha Irene Arnold.¹
     Melvin married Patty Marie Hilderbrand.³ Patty was the daughter of Ray and Vera Arnold Hilderbrand.⁴ Melvin died on July 24, 2013 in Tippecanoe County, Indiana.²

     David Keith Slade was born on December 1, 1939 in Frankfort, Clinton County, Indiana.² He was the son of Raymond Thomas Slade and Aletha Irene Arnold.¹ David died on February 29, 2012 in Buck Creek, Tippecanoe County, Indiana, at age 72.³ His obituary read as follows:

      David K. Slade, 72, of Buck Creek, died at 11:55 a.m. Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in his home. He was born December 1, 1939 in Frankfort, IN, the son of the late Raymond and Aletha Arnold Slade. David graduated from Buck Creek High School and was honorably discharged from the United States Marines and the United States Air Force. For most of his working career, he worked as a roofer for Lafayette Roofing Company. David enjoyed fishing. Surviving is four sisters: Wilma F. Slade and Laura Poole, both of Buck Creek, Virginia (husband: John) Montague of Anderson, and Barbara L. Gould of rural Lafayette and one brother: Melvin L.      Patty married Melvin Lynn Slade, son of Raymond Thomas Slade and Aletha Irene Arnold.¹ Patty died on September 1, 2008 in Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana, at age 64.¹ Her obituary read as follows:

      Patty Marie Hilderbrand-Slade, age 64 of Lafayette, died at Home Hospital on Monday, September 1, 2008. Born in Centerton, Indiana on August 27, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Vera Arnold Hilderbrand. She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, gardening, and lottery tickets.
She is survived by her companion, Melvin L. Slade, Sr., a son, Melvin Lynn Slade, Jr. (wife, Dawn) , of Lafayette, five sisters, Anita Kay Rae (husband, William) of Clifton, TN, Linda Joan Spear of Lafayette, Phyllis Bowman of TN, Nancy Taylor (husband, Joseph) of Lafayette, and Marjorie Louise Webb (husband, Donald) of Evansville, and two brothers, James R. Hilderbrand (wife, Barb) of Buck Creek, and Donald Bruce Hilderbrand (wife, Mary) of Lafayette.
Visitation one hour prior to the 4 p.m. service on Thursday at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Alexa Marie Payne. She loved her dogs and cat.
