Milton C. Slade, 92, of Delmar Place, Syracuse, died Tuesday. Born in Schenectady, he moved to Syracuse in 1925, lived in Baltimore in the 1940s then returned to Syracuse. He retired in 1945 as a mechanic for Martin Aircraft Co. in Baltimore, Md. He also worked for various companies in the Syracuse area after World War II. He was a communicant of St. Daniel Church. His wife, Rose M., died in 2001.
Survivors: Two daughters, Roberta Slade of Syracuse and Linda Nieciecki of Baldwinsville; a son, Donald of Baldwinsville; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Services: 8:30 a.m. Friday at Gang Memorial Chapel and 9 a.m. in St. Daniel Church. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours, 4 to 7 p.m. today at Gang Memorial Chapel, 104 Fordham Road, Syracuse.3
