     Stanley Blake Slade was born on January 23, 1898 in Monroe County, New York.^2,1,3 He was the son of Seward B. Slade and Alice E. [?]⁴ Stanley Blake Slade was registered for the military draft in World War I on September 12, 1918 in Rochester, Monroe County, New York. At the time, he was working as a cost accountant at Rock Stamping Works, Anderson Ave, and living with his parents at 100 Gibbs Street.¹
     Stanley married first Marguerite J. Eastman.⁵
     Stanley married second Bernadine [?].⁶ Stanley died in February, 1969 in New York at age 71.³

     Abraham Haus House was born on October 27, 1811.¹
     Abraham married Mary Bronson.² Abraham died on September 25, 1890 in Cayuga County, New York, at age 78.¹

     Mary Bronson was born on November 10, 1815 in Dutchess County, New York.¹
     Mary married Abraham Haus House.¹ Mary died on September 12, 1876 in Cayuga County, New York, at age 60.¹

     Fred Berry Slade was born in January, 1886 in New York.¹ He was the son of Julius Benton Slade and Cordelia Francenia House.¹

     Roger Eastman Slade was born on March 13, 1929 in Rochester, Monroe County, New York.^2,3,1 He was the son of Stanley Blake Slade and Marguerite J. Eastman.^2,1

     Roger married second Linda Peterson.¹ Roger died on January 30, 2020 in The Villages, Florida, at age 90.¹ His obituary read as follows:

The Villages - Roger Eastman Slade, age 90, passed away peacefully in The Villages, Florida on January 30 with his wife by his side. He was born in Rochester, New York on March 13, 1929 to Stanley and Marguerite (Eastman) Slade.

After high school, Roger attended Mechanics Institute (RIT), and was employed by Eastman Kodak Company as a technician for over thirty years in Rochester. His Kodak career was interrupted by service in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was stationed on the battleship USS New Jersey from 1952 to 1953 in Korea at the end of the war.

Roger was a loving father, grandfather and husband. He enjoyed golf and had made five holes in one, travel, spending time on the Finger Lakes of New York, watching sports on TV, and for many years was a die-hard Giants fan.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Rita Slade, the mother of his children. In addition to his wife, Linda Peterson Slade, he is survived by his children: Donna (Eugene) Easton, Churchville, NY, Steven Slade, Canandaigua, NY and Roger (Gage) Slade, Geneseo, NY, eight grandchildren, and five great- grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his family.

Interment will be in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida with a private memorial in NY at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests those wishing to do so make a donation in his name to the American Kidney Fund, P.O. box 11038, Lewiston ,ME 04243-9963; Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607-1460 or to the charity of your choice.

     Phoebe Slade was born on May 1, 1805 in Worcester County, Massachusetts.¹ She was the daughter of Anthony Slade and Julia Buffington.¹
     Phoebe married Orange Goff.² Phoebe died on March 26, 1882 in Mapleton, Blue Earth County, Minnesota, at age 76¹ and was buried in Chase Cemetery, Mapleton, Blue Earth County, Minnesota.¹

     Orange Goff was born on November 29, 1806 in Herkimer County, New York.¹
     Orange married Phoebe Slade, daughter of Anthony Slade and Julia Buffington.¹ Orange died on February 24, 1878 in Blue Earth County, Minnesota, at age 71¹ and was buried in Chase Cemetery, Mapleton, Blue Earth County, Minnesota.¹

     Samuel Slade was born on May 7, 1809 in Massachusetts.¹ He was the son of Anthony Slade and Julia Buffington.¹
     Samuel married Elsa Alford.² Samuel died on December 25, 1903 at age 94¹ and was buried in Cedarville Cemetery, Litchfield, Herkimer County, New York.¹

     Elsa Alford was born on August 8, 1814 in New York.^1,2
     Elsa married Samuel Slade, son of Anthony Slade and Julia Buffington.¹ Elsa died on January 29, 1899 at age 84.¹ She was buried in Cedarville Cemetery, Litchfield, Herkimer County, New York.¹

     George S. Slade was born in August, 1848 in New York.² He was the son of Samuel Slade and Elsa Alford.²
     George married Mary A. [?]¹

     Clyde Townsend Slade was born on May 14, 1881 in West Winfield, Herkimer County, New York.^3,1,4 He was the son of George S. Slade and Mary A. [?]³
     Clyde married Maude E. Smith.^5,6 Clyde Townsend Slade was registered for the military draft in World War I on September 12, 1918 in Herkimer County, New York.² He was registered for World War 2 draft in 1942 while living in West Winfield, New York.¹ Clyde died on November 1, 1943 at age 62.⁷

     Lynn married Corinne [?].² Lynn Russell Slade was born on August 5, 1911 in Herkimer County, New York.^3,1 He was the son of Clyde Townsend Slade and Maude E. Smith.³ Lynn died on November 4, 2000 in Henderson, Clark County, Nevada, at age 89.¹ He was buried in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, Clark County, Nevada.² His obituary read as follows:

      Lynn R. Slade Sr., 89, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 5, 1911, in Litchfield, N.Y. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired Navy chief yeoman, a World World II and Korean War Navy veteran and a member of the Masons in Brooklyn, N.Y.

He is survived by his wife, Corinne; two sons, Lyn R. Slade Jr. of Henderson and Ronald E. Slade of Las Vegas; one daughter, Marilyn Patterson of Henderson; one sister, Alice Winslow of Savannah, Ga; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 2 p.m. services in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will be at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 6370 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 1, Las Vegas, NV 89103.²

     Alice Caroline Slade was born circa 1917 in Herkimer County, New York.¹ She was the daughter of Clyde Townsend Slade and Maude E. Smith.¹
     Alice married William Winslow.² Alice died on January 30, 2004 in Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia.² Her obituary read as follows:

      Alice C. Winslow, 86, died Friday, January 30, in St. Joseph's Hospital. The West Winfield, NY native lived many years in Marshfield, MO, North Syracuse, NY and had lived in Savannah, GA for the past eight years. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Monday Morning Ministries. She was an avid bridge player and was preceded in death by her husband, William Winslow.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Barbara J. and Robert L. Johnson, Savannah; son, George A. Winslow, Lafayette, NY; grandchildren, Brenda Johnson, David Johnson, Wade Winslow, Patrick Winslow, Tracy Miller and William Winslow, II; 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2004 in Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 1, 2004 in Faith Lutheran Church.

Additional Services will be held in West Winfield, NY in the spring.
