     Harold Learned Slade was born on April 24, 1890 in Fall River, Bristol County, Massachusetts.^1,3,4 He was the son of Albion King Slade and Josephine H. D. Learned.¹
     Harold married Lavinia B. Mosher on October 14, 1913 in Belmont, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁵ Lavinia was the daughter of Delilah Asbell & Major Mosher of Belmont.⁵
     Harold married second Gertrude E. [?] circa 1924.⁶
     Harold Learned Slade registered for the draft for World War II in 1942, while living at Melrose, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.³ Harold died in October, 1964 in Malden, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at age 74.⁷

     Corporal George Thomas Slade was born in 1916 in England.¹ He was the son of Francis Charles Slade and Gladys Madeline Horwell.² George died on May 9, 1944.¹ He was buried in Beach Head War Cemetery, Anzio, Lazio, Italy.³

     Lavinia B. Mosher was born circa 1893 in Belmont, Middlesex County, Massachusetts,¹, the daughter of Delilah Asbell & Major Mosher.¹
     Lavinia married Harold Learned Slade, son of Albion King Slade and Josephine H. D. Learned, on October 14, 1913 in Belmont, Massachusetts.¹

     James Adkinson was born on July 15, 1885 in New York.^1,2
     James married Mary E. Slade, daughter of Charles Ellsworth Slade and Isabella J. Brown.¹ James died on January 2, 1972 at age 86.² He was buried in Nathan Slade Cemetery, Somerset, Bristol County, Massachusetts.²

     William D. Fleck was born on May 9, 1856 in Nova Scotia, Canada.¹

     Clarke Winship Slade Jr. was born on January 13, 1931 in Maryland.^1,2 He was the son of Clarke Winship Slade and Camille Irvine.¹ Clarke graduated from Phillips Academy, Andover, Massachusetts and from Princeton University. He started his business career with American Cyanamid in New York City. Later, after serving in the Army, in 1959 he moved to Wilmington where he joined the Atlas Powder Company, now the Astra Zeneca Corporation, where he held various corporate management positions.¹
     Clarke married Elizabeth Beekman on September 22, 1956 in Somerville, New Jersey.³ Clarke Winship Slade Jr. and Elizabeth Beekman were divorced.⁴
     Clarke married Deena Sue Miller.⁴
     Clarke married Ellen Huntington.¹ Clarke died on May 23, 2018 in Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware, at age 87.¹ His obituary read as follows:

      Wilmington - Clarke Winship Slade, Jr., age 87 of Wilmington, Delaware died on May 23, 2018 after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Clarke W. Slade and Camille Irvine Slade. Raised in Bethesda and Sandy Spring, Maryland, Mr. Slade graduated from his parents' school, The Slade School, from Phillips Academy, Andover, Massachusetts and from Princeton University.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years Ellen Huntington Slade; his brother William M.I. Slade of Clarksville, Maryland; his sons Clarke W. Slade III (Margaret) of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and John B. Slade of Abington, Pennsylvania, his stepchildren Bruce Flowers of Brooklyn, New York, Kendra Allen (Ben) of Portland, Maine, Sarah Bryant (Ben) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Emily Gilbert (Caleb) of Rockport, Massachusetts; two grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.

A chemist who specialized in marketing research, Mr. Slade started his business career with American Cyanamid in New York City. Later, after serving in the Army, in 1959 he moved to Wilmington where he joined the Atlas Powder Company, now the Astra Zeneca Corporation, where he held various corporate management positions during his 31 years of service.

Mr. Slade was involved with numerous chemical industry organizations and was treasurer and later president of the Chemical Marketing Research Association. He served on the board of Contact Delaware and was an active Princeton alumnus who interviewed prospective students. After his retirement, he pursued an interest in archaeology by participating on numerous archaeological "digs" around the world. He was a volunteer with the FAITH center and a treasurer and board member of the English Speaking Union. He attended the Academy of Lifelong Learning.

A memorial service will be held at Christ Church Christiana Hundred, 505 E. Buck Road, Greenville, Delaware, on May 30th at 2:30. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests a donation to Christ Church Christiana Hundred.

     Caroline D. Slade was born circa 1835 in New York.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Slade and Elsa Alford.¹
     Caroline married William A. Rider.²

     Robert Stanley Slade was born on November 16, 1936 in Victoria, Australia.² He was the son of Stanley Robert Slade and Phyllis Cathrine Braybrook.³
     Robert married Pat McDonald.⁴ Robert died on November 13, 2011 at age 74.² He was buried in Wodonga Cemetery, Wodonga, Victoria, Australia.²

     Elizabeth Slade was born on October 10, 1804 in Martin County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of General Jeremiah Slade and Janet Bog.
     Elizabeth married Mason Lee Wiggins, son of Blake Baker Wiggins and Sallie Lee, on May 2, 1826 in Bertie County, North Carolina. Elizabeth died on November 23, 1876 in Halifax County, North Carolina, at age 72 and was buried in Woodlawn, Halifax County, North Carolina.¹
