     Robert married Helen Slade, daughter of James Bog Slade and Mary Elizabeth Denson, in 1882.² Robert died on January 8, 1920 at age 70.¹ He was buried in Linwood Historic Cemetery, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia.¹

     James Denson Slade was born on November 5, 1859 in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia.^1,2 He was the son of James Bog Slade and Mary Elizabeth Denson.³ James died on October 5, 1904 in Columbus, Georgia, at age 44 after an illness of several weeks.^4,2 He was buried in Linwood Historic Cemetery, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia.²

     William Slade was born on July 20, 1903 in Dooly County, Georgia.^1,2 He was the son of John Jackson Slade and Ella Berlen Singletary.³ William died on December 26, 1978 at age 75.² He was buried in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia.²

     Catherine Irby Comegys was known as Kate. She was born in January, 1831 in Alabama Her father was Edward Freeman Comegys, born 1797 in Maryland, her mother was Catherine Irby born 1800 in Virginia.¹

     Catherine married Thomas Blount Slade, son of Marmaduke Johnson Slade and Ann Gray Blount.¹ Catherine died in 1909.² She was buried in Linney Cemetery, Dayton, Liberty County, Texas.²

     Ann Gray Blount was born in 1812 in Georgia.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Blount and Martha Emanuel.²
     Ann married Marmaduke Johnson Slade, son of Ebenezer Slade and Frances E. Johnson, on August 10, 1826 in near Clinton, Jones County, Georgia.^1,2 Ann Gray Blount was known as Anna.

     Catherine Irby Slade was known as Minnie. She was born in 1855 in Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Blount Slade and Catherine Irby Comegys.¹
     Catherine married Samuel Theodore Steele circa 1886.²

     Lucy Clara Slade was born on March 20, 1856 in Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Blount Slade and Catherine Irby Comegys.¹
     Lucy married Oscar Black Ralls, son of Dr. John Perkins Ralls and Agnes Mary Hamilton, on November 8, 1882 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama. Lucy died on September 30, 1927 at age 71. She was buried in Forrest Cemetery, Gadsden, Etowah County, Alabama.

     Marmaduke Johnson Slade Jr. was born in 1843 in Alabama.¹ He was the son of Marmaduke Johnson Slade and Ann Gray Blount.¹ Marmaduke Johnson Slade Jr. was known as M. D. J. Slade.

     Thomas Blount Slade was born in November, 1829 in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia.^1,2 He was the son of Marmaduke Johnson Slade and Ann Gray Blount.

     Thomas married Catherine Irby Comegys.¹ Thomas Blount Slade first entered the service as a Private in 1862 at Tuscaloosa, Alabama in Company D 2nd Alabama Regement and continued until paroled July 1865. in 1862.²¹

     Alfred Mason Slade was born on September 27, 1933 in Jamaica, Windham County, Vermont.¹ He was the son of Chester Linwood Slade and Bertha Marion Sage.¹ Alfred died on October 14, 1989 at age 56¹ and was buried in East Jamaica Cemetery, Windham County, Vermont.¹
